Under the supervision of the Performance Manager, this position is also instrumental in ensuring the successful workplace integration of new Financial Services Managers through onboarding support and ongoing coaching. What you’ll accomplish with us
As a Performance Specialist, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
- Prepare and conduct dealership visits by analyzing sales data (UniFI), aligning with PACT/Lean objectives, and collaborating with Consultants to identify FSM development needs.
- Deliver tailored individual training to FSMs on iA products, compliance requirements, sales techniques, and managing non-met clients or credit refusals.
- Use observation, role-playing, call listening, and client meeting participation to identify performance gaps and provide actionable feedback.
- Promote consistent use of corporate tools, systems, and Lean methodology to drive performance and compliance.
- Deliver engaging in-person and virtual group training sessions using iA Dealer Services materials, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
- Support the onboarding and integration of new FSMs through coaching, system setup, practical exercises, and regular performance monitoring.
- Maintain training documentation, reports, and logs (Salesforce updates, attendance records, training logbooks) and perform targeted follow-ups with priority accounts.
- Communicate proactively with the Performance Manager regarding risks, scheduling changes, client impact, expenses, and compliance matters, while acting in accordance with the Code of Business Conduct.
What could accelerate your success in this role
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is known for their in-depth knowledge of the iA Dealer Services sales process, insurance products, and warranty solutions.
- Stands out for their strong understanding of dealership operations, business office functions, and financial institution processes (credit applications, credit refusals, etc.).
- Demonstrates strong analytical, training, and coaching abilities, including sales data interpretation, performance improvement, and classroom or virtual training delivery using Lean methodology.
- Is recognized for their professionalism, client service orientation, diplomacy, sound judgment, organization, and ability to build trust while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Is known for their ability to use and navigate retailer and corporate systems (UniFI, UniFI 2.0, Dealertrack, Equifax, Salesforce, etc.) to support performance and reporting.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, adaptability, discipline, rigor, and the ability to manage priorities, stress, and timelines effectively in a results-driven environment.
- Has 5 years of experience in financial services, automotive retail, dealership operations, or performance improvement/training roles.

The typical hiring range for this position is between $40 509,00 and $60 762,45 CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
