About the role:
Fairstone is seeking a passionate, hard-working Performance Marketing Analyst, Brand & Engagement to join our growing Digital Marketing team currently consisting of 10 highly specialized, data-driven marketers.
The successful candidate will focus their time primarily on assisting the Senior Manager, Performance Marketing in driving top-of-funnel marketing efforts to build awareness, engagement and demand for Fairstone’s lending products and our diverse portfolio across various business lines. This includes managing paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and Snapchat, overseeing Amazon DSP initiatives, and leading the development and deployment of User Generated Content (UGC). The analyst will also manage relationships with multiple programmatic media partners and the agency responsible for UGC production. They will play a key role in crafting strategic briefs, optimizing upper-funnel media performance, and supporting brand and lead generation objectives.
This is an exceptional opportunity for the selected candidate to become a well-rounded digital marketer as they will gain experience in all digital channels and will work with various groups within marketing (including working with copywriters, graphic designers, etc.). Previous experience within a digital media agency is considered an asset as this individual will step into a role focused on media planning/buying, running campaigns and executing various strategies and tactics. The successful candidate will be a go-getter, innately curious, both creative and technically savvy. They will be efficient, dedicated, and passionate about digital marketing.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Performance Marketing, this role has the following responsibilities:
- Supports the execution of channel strategies for Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, Snapchat Ads, and Amazon Ads by assisting with campaign builds, ad uploads, daily monitoring, optimization, budget management and relationship coordination.
- Responsible for designing and executing messaging tests across key channels and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement test findings and enhance overall marketing effectiveness.
- Oversee and manage a large budget, diligently ensuring all advertising channels remain within the allotment to avoid overages.
- Help to manage agency relationships for four programmatic media partners, including developing strategic media briefs and ensuring creative assets remain fresh and aligned with campaign goals.
- Owns the User Generated Content (UGC) program, including end-to-end management of agency relationships, content strategy and production timelines.
- Responsible for identifying content needs, collaborating with Creative Services team to ideate video assets and developing detailed content briefs.
- Work closely with Fairstone’s Legal and Creative Services teams to ensure initiatives and ad formats align with compliance and brand standards.
- Builds UTM tracking links, configures audiences within advertising platforms, and monitors pixel implementation and tracking accuracy for all campaigns. For channels managed directly in-platform, executes these tasks independently; for agency-managed channels, collaborates with agency partners and the analytics team to ensure proper setup and measurement.
- Monitor spending patterns and analyze data to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiency.
- Supports program performance evaluation including analysis and reporting using tools such as GA4, Looker Studio, Quicksight, Excel and PowerPoint
- Take part in ideation and execution of yearly strategic plan
- Owns competitive monitoring, stays in the know on the latest digital marketing trends leveraging Statista and SEMrush
- Supports improvement of processes and workflows
What we’re looking for:
- Technical experience with digital advertising platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Snapchat Ads, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, and Amazon DSP
- Proven ability with strong relationship management skills, including experience managing multiple agency relationships
- Past media agency experience considered an asset
- Exceptional brief writing skills, with the ability to clearly articulate campaign objectives, audience insights, channel strategy and creative direction for internal and external partners.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency using MS Excel and Looked Studio
- A relentless focus on incrementality and efficient growth; a keen eye for detail and an action-oriented mindset
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical, problem solving and issue resolution skills
- Proven ability to effectively work with cross-functional team members
- Ability to rapidly assimilate new ideas and able to communicate effectively with team
- Bilingual (English, French) considered a great asset
- Financial services industry background an asset

What you can expect - pay & process:
- Expected base salary range is $55 000.00 - $65 000.00 per year, plus the opportunity to earn an annual incentive bonus tied to performance.
