About the Role

We’re looking for a data-driven People Operations Coordinator to join our People Operations team here at Planful. You will be responsible for helping to build and tell our talent story by providing organizational insights and reporting and ensuring the integrity of our workforce data globally. Requirements: 

  • Located in Canada
  • Reliable and personable; enjoy working with a diverse range of individuals and ensuring employee requirements and needs are met first
  • Basic familiarity with HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and other tools such as Google Workspace, Excel and Canva
  • Bias towards data insights and driving value. You enjoy telling stories backed by data and breaking down seemingly complex problems
  • Ability to take initiative within a distributed team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing global environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Successfully able to manage multiple, competing priorities
  • Able to split focus across a diverse yet equally important set of functions.
  • Ability to demonstrate integrity and maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain organized electronic personnel records and ensure the accuracy of HRIS databases throughout the employee journey (New hires, personnel changes, promotions, terminations, etc.)
  • Leverage the HRIS System and ensure the integrity of those systems as your source of truth to gather and analyze data, prepare reports, and manage personnel files for a diverse workforce
  • Serve as a key subject matter expert of our People data, responding to employee inquiries and staying informed about company policies, employee benefits, and other People Operations related matters
  • Partner with senior team members to develop automated reporting solutions and dashboards to reflect Planful’s key people success metrics applying to a broad range of People Ops functions 
  • Support the successful implementation of any technology integrations relating to HRIS systems and act as primary point of contact and collaboration with IT and Payroll teams
  • Serve as subject matter expert on HRIS system usage, respond to internal inquiries on data, educate team members and managers on HRIS system usage
  • Collaborate with other members of the People team for both project based initiatives as well as day to day transactions
  • Respond to employment verification inquiries, audit employee files, and provide external audit support to cross-functional partners including Payroll, IT and Recruiting, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and remain confidential
  • Support the Director of People Operations and CPO with ad-hoc reporting and projects as needed.

Pay Transparency Statement

At Planful our top priority is to support our employees and ensure each individual has access to equal growth opportunities. Pay decisions take into consideration the individual's skillset, experience, knowledge, qualifications for the role, and specific work location. 

Our base salary band for this role is $45,000 - 52,000 CAD per year, dependent on working location and experience. This position is eligible for bonuses/commission and more details about our company benefits can be found here: https://planful.com/jobs/
