The Position

Pega Product Architect

As a Pega Product Architect you will be accountable to lead the strategic development and delivery of Pega-based solutions that drive business transformation. This hybrid role blends deep platform expertise with product ownership responsibilities, ensuring that solutions are technically sound, aligned with business goals, and optimized for user experience and scalability.

As the Pega Product Architect, you will define the product vision, lead architectural decisions, and act as the voice of the customer and business in Agile development cycles

You will be a part of the global team working on modern automation technologies (such as: Pega BPM) to improve a wide range of Roche internal business processes. 

The Opportunity:

  • You will define and prioritize the product backlog based on business needs and value

  • You will T=translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs, translate them into user stories, and prioritize development

  • Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery milestones in Agile/Scrum environments

  • Ensure that solutions meet business goals, regulatory requirements, and user experience standards

  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Pega solutions with enterprise systems and APIs

  • Guide and mentor developers, enforcing best practices in performance, scalability, and maintainability

Who you are:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

  • You have 4 to 6 years experience in a Product Owner or technical leadership role in Agile environments

  • You have a very good knowledge of Pega BPM technology and Pega cloud environment

  • You have a good knowledge of security topics such as SSL, PKI, certificates, OWASP, etc.

  • You have knowledge of various cloud platforms e.g. AWS, Google

  • You have experience in working directly with the customer, identifying automation needs

  • You have an excellent communication skills in English

Preferred:

  • Certified Pega System Architect (CSA/SSA) strongly preferred
