About The Job

As a Payroll Coordinator you will be responsible for the following:

  • Process multiple bi-weekly payrolls for Canada.
  • Maintain employee database in payroll system.
  • Prepare and input payroll data for processing.
  • Calculate and process adjustments as required.
  • Audit and reconcile the payroll entries.
  • Prepare ROEs.
  • Calculate WSIB remittances.
  • Benefits plan administration.
  • Respond to payroll and benefits inquiries.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile the GL accounts.
  • Participate and support the team in payroll initiatives.
About You
  • Some Canadian payroll experience.
  • Employment Standards Act knowledge.
  • Intermediate excel knowledge.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and comfort interacting with individuals at all levels.
  • A passion for payroll.
  • Ability to work independently – be a self-starter and self-learner and take time to think and take initiative.
