Job Description

We are seeking a commercially driven Account Executive to expand our Wealth Channel by onboarding financial advisors and wealth firms as referral partners.

This is a true partner-acquisition role. You will identify, engage and convert wealth advisors, private client teams, and wealth platforms into active OFX referral partners who introduce high-net-worth individuals with cross-border FX needs.

You will follow structured Salesforce cadences to progress advisor prospects through discovery, value articulation, agreement, and activation. Once a client is successfully onboarded and transacting, they will transition to an Account Manager for ongoing relationship management. You will be measured on new advisor partnerships onboarded, time-to-first-referral, revenue from newly activated partners, and pipeline discipline and execution rigor.  This role requires a strategic hunter mindset, financial services credibility, and operational precision.

What you'll do:

• Prospecting & outreach: Identify, engage and build relationships with wealth advisors, wealth managers, financial planners, private bankers, family offices and other wealth professionals aligned to OFX’s ICP

• Discovery & needs assessment: Conduct structured discovery conversations to understand partner business models, referral potential and high-value client cross-border needs

• Commercial negotiation: Present OFX’s value proposition with clarity, negotiate referral agreements and ensure partner terms align with commercial and compliance requirements

• Pipeline management: Maintain a disciplined pipeline in Salesforce, including accurate forecasting, stage management, next steps, notes and conversion tracking

• Activation & enablement: Drive early-stage advisor activation, ensuring partners understand OFX’s referral process, client value proposition and support model

• Client referral handoff: Introduce referred clients to OFX’s Private Client Dealer teams for onboarding and transaction execution, ensuring a smooth and professional handoff

• Advisor transition to SPM: Transition newly activated advisors to the Senior Partnerships Manager for long-term management, farming, performance optimization and referral growth

• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Sales Operations to refine ICP targeting and with Marketing to improve advisor engagement tools, materials and messaging

• Execution within global model: Operate consistently within OFX’s automated and scalable sales system, using prescribed cadences, workflows and tools to drive predictable new business

• Market awareness: Stay informed about wealth management, HNWI client behaviors, FX trends and cross-border payment needs to better position OFX within partner ecosystems

Tools and Operating Model

You will operate within a structured, technology-enabled acquisition model designed for automation and scale. Execution discipline within defined workflows is expected.

You will have access to:

• ZoomInfo and enrichment tools

• Salesforce for CRM, cadences and forecasting

• Seismic Digital Sales Rooms

• Gong conversation intelligence

• Microsoft Teams and Zoom

• AI productivity tools including ChatGPT and Gemini

Qualifications

What you bring

Experience: 4+ years in a full-cycle closing role (professional services and/or financial services), with consistent quota attainment; experience in channel or partner-led sales is strongly preferred

Industry expertise: Experience selling to or working with wealth intermediaries (financial advisors, wealth managers, financial planners), or adjacent financial and professional services; familiarity with FX or cross-border payments is a plus

Consultative selling: Strong discovery, value-based selling and negotiation skills; ability to translate product capabilities into business and client outcomes

Partner mindset: Able to build trust with partners and align incentives; comfortable enabling others to sell and advocate on your behalf

Pipeline rigor: Strong territory planning, forecasting discipline and CRM hygiene; Salesforce experience preferred

Communication and professionalism: Confident, articulate communicator with strong stakeholder management skills

Execution focus: Highly organized, persistent and able to operate in a fast-paced environment while staying aligned to strategy

Collaboration: Works effectively cross-functionally with Account Management, Operations and Sales Operations to deliver outcomes

Travel: Willingness to travel for partner meetings and industry events as needed
