What we’re doing
trophi.ai is the AI powered coaching platform that transforms how gamers learn, compete, and win. Backed by a16z, with $12M in funding, we’re already live in five titles with 100K+ users and rapidly expanding into new games, hardware partnerships, and SDK integrations.

Our next stage of growth is about building the right ecosystem around trophi.ai from studios and publishers to hardware makers and platforms. We’re looking for a Partnerships Lead reporting to the head of product & partnerships who can hunt, structure, and close deals that unlock distribution, revenue, and product opportunities.

Things you’ll do

  • Build and own a pipeline of studios and publishers for our B2B product line focused on personalized onboarding.
  • Contribute to our ecosystem and market entry strategy, mapping opportunities and frameworks with the Head of Product.
  • Hunt and close new ecosystem partnerships (hardware, platforms, service providers) that generate revenue and elevate the player experience.
  • Manage and expand existing strategic partnerships (e.g., Fanatec, Corsair, Grid & Go), ensuring smooth delivery, reporting, and upsell opportunities.
  • Assist in Scoping, pitch, and deliver proof of concepts (POCs) with partners, then convert them into scaled commercial agreements.
  • Develop and deliver proposals, presentations, and partner materials that resonate with decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with Product and Data Science to scope integrations and deliver on partner requirements.
  • Represent trophi.ai at industry events and conferences, building credibility and expanding our network.
  • Drive execution of partnership initiatives from concept through completion, ensuring deal terms are upheld and deliverables met.

Skills you’ll bring

  • Sales background: 4+ years in partnerships, BD, or enterprise sales, ideally launching new products, markets, or territories. Experience with $100K–$1M ARR deals.
  • Gaming expertise:2+ years working with publishers, developers, or studios, with an existing industry network.
  • Ecosystem knowledge: deep understanding of gaming business models (live ops, UGC, monetization, platforms).
  • Deal-making track record: proven success hunting and closing high-value opportunities, navigating multi-stakeholder orgs.
  • POC experience: skilled at scoping, pitching, and converting proof of concepts into scaled partnerships.
  • Operator mindset: thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple high-priority deals simultaneously.
  • Strategic storyteller: able to translate trophi.ai’s product vision into tailored narratives for partners.
  • Self-motivated team player: resilient, scrappy, and proactive about driving outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel 10–20%.
  • Passion for gaming.

WILL NOT enjoy this role if

  • You want a fully defined playbook. We're building this as we go.
  • You expect only warm intros. You'll need to be scrappy and creative in prospecting, pitching, and closing.
  • You avoid hands-on execution: building decks, proposals, and managing follow-ups is part of the job.
  • You get overwhelmed juggling multiple conversations at once.
  • You need constant direction; you'll be expected to run with the vision and create structure independently.
