Why this role?

In this intermediate level individual contributor role, we seek a Partner Success Specialist excited to grow their career in the exciting world of Enterprise Generative AI.

The Partner Success Specialist will collaborate with our leadership to build and scale our global partnerships ecosystem. This will include defining partner strategy, building partnerships with consulting firms, hyperscalers and other partners and scaling our internal partner infrastructure as Cohere continues to scale rapidly. In this broadly scoped role, Cohere seeks a candidate with big-picture thinking skills, reliable business judgment, influencing skills, and a ‘move the needle’ mindset. As our Partner Success Specialist, you will:

Partner strategy: Collaborate with partner leadership and cross-functional stakeholders globally to develop partner strategy and resource plans. Engage closely with the GTM leadership to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and provide data-driven recommendations for the partner program

Strategic initiatives: Develop and lead critical strategic projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the partner organization. Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and sales to drive partner initiatives end to end.

Partner analytics and operations: Own source of truth partner performance dashboards, analytics and lead conflict management activities in partner and internal tools and systems (e.g., SFDC, ACE, lead management tools, internal CRM).

Partner onboarding and enablement: Partner with enablement teams to build out scaled partner enablement infrastructure to support partner teams to effectively sell Cohere’s offerings. Be thought leader to certify and enable partners to deliver an exceptional customer experience

Partner Management and Pipeline Generation: Identify and establish key relationships with select partner companies. Collaborate with Partner Managers to own and drive initiatives and push forward on overall partnership agendas, pipeline generation and partner activation initiatives (e.g., partner events & conferences, sales campaigns)

The Partner Success Specialist role is a good match for you if you have:

  • 4+ years experience in consulting, go-to-market and partnership roles

  • 2+ years of external client-facing work experience

  • Experience developing and executing integrated GTM strategies to unlock growth.

  • Strong understanding of recurring revenue models, enterprise technology business models and go-to-market strategies.

  • Superior critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience engaging with executive senior leadership in a constructive and collaborative manner.

  • Ability to work in a cross functional manner across sales, technical teams, product and management.

  • A strong sense of ownership. Self-motivated and self-directed.
