About the team

Alloy's Mid-Market Banking & Credit Union segment addresses the high demands of fraud prevention, identity risk, and customer expectations, which are core to modern banking experiences. We sell directly and through channel partners (account opening, loan origination, and digital banking platforms), and we're expanding our ecosystem to reach more banks and credit unions through trusted referral relationships.

The Partner Development Manager reports to the Director of Channel Partnerships and owns the early partner lifecycle: sourcing and signing new referral and reseller partners, building joint business plans, coordinating technical integrations and documentation, and generating pipeline from new and select existing partners. You'll work closely with Sales, Partner Account Managers, Technical Solutions, Product, and Partner Ops, and hand fully launched partners to Partner Account Managers for ongoing management.

What you'll be doing
  • Build and prioritize a target list of potential partners serving mid-market banks and credit unions.
  • Source, qualify, and recruit new partners through outbound prospecting, events, and warm introductions.
  • Lead partners from first contact through signature, working with Legal and Partner Ops on agreements and onboarding.
  • Build joint business plans with new partners that define target segments, referral motion, goals, and success metrics.
  • Work with Product, Technical Solutions, and partner technical teams to scope and document integration specs.
  • Define GTM processes with each partner, including referral flow, lead routing, handoff to Sales, and attribution.
  • Create early enablement materials, such as positioning, referral guides, and talk tracks.
  • Generate referral pipeline with new and select existing partners through joint outreach, campaigns, and introductions to target financial institutions.
  • Hand qualified referrals to Account Executives with clear context, and track them through close.
  • Maintain Salesforce hygiene for partner records, referral tracking, and attribution, and report on sourced partners, signed partners, and referral pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, RevOps, and Partner Ops on co-marketing, enablement, and reporting.
Who we're looking for
  • 5+ years professional experience in technology or SaaS environments
  • 2-4 years in partnerships, business development, or channel sales, with a track record of sourcing and closing new relationships or pipeline.
  • Experience with referral, channel, or alliance programs strongly preferred; partner launch or onboarding experience is a plus.
  • Digital banking, fintech, or fraud/credit/identity experience preferred, or demonstrated ability to ramp quickly in a regulated space.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into integration scope with technical teams.
  • Strong Salesforce discipline, with comfort running high-volume outbound and managing a multi-stage partner pipeline.
  • Excellent communication skills and a coachable, collaborative approach across Sales, Partner Account Managers, Product, and Partner Ops.

This position has a base salary range of $120,000 to $155,000. There is a 70/30 split between base salary and sales commission, plus equity.

Benefits and Perks
  • Unlimited PTO and flexible work policy
  • Employee stock options
  • Medical, dental, vision plans with HSA (monthly employer contribution) and FSA options
  • 401k with 100% match up to 4% of annual employee compensation
  • Eligible new parents receive 16 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Home office stipend for new employees
  • Annual Learning & Development annual stipend
  • Well-being benefits include access to ClassPass, OneMedical, UrbanSitter, and Spring Health
  • Hybrid work environment: employees are expected to work Tuesdays through Thursdays from our HQ in Union Square, Manhattan. Tasty lunches catered from a variety of local restaurants and frequent employee-organized cultural events contribute to our positive office energy.
