​​Paid Media Effectiveness & Planning Advisor​ 

We are ready to take this game to the next level and need someone passionate to oversee the monitoring and analysis of digital media campaign data and provides OLG LoB/Brand teams with internal access to digital media reporting platforms, allowing for real time media metric reports for timely sharing of data and insights. The role contributes to cross-functional data sharing initiatives to align media insights with broader business strategies and is a key contributor to the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) tools into media performance analysis for predictive campaign optimization. 

YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME 

Reporting to the Director, Paid Media Effectiveness Planningyou will be empowered to:  

  • Be a SME for the digital line of business, utilizing a deep understanding of business objectives to provide media consulting guidance and recommendations, across digital product teams in order to enhance performance success metrics. 

  • Bridge media data-based consumer insights and business strategy for digital portfolio with real time access to media data, allowing product teams to marry Brand Data with Media Data to help make informative decisions and optimizations.  

  • Monitor media budget and spend activity, providing pacing reports to internal teams on a frequent basis and liaising with finance to ensure billing is aligned to media spend.  

  • Activate OLG’s digital media innovation roadmap, managing and continually optimizing the tech stack to advance media effectiveness by acting as the connective tissue between products, marketing and other engaged parties (i.e. OLG Enterprise Analytics, media agencies, tech consultants, digital platforms)  including: 

  • Campaign analysis  

  • Market Mix Modeling 

  • Social Analytics  

  • Search Analytics 

  • Media Optimization  

  • Site Analysis 

  • Collaborate with Enterprise CX team to align media campaigns with enterprise customer journey mapping and touchpoints. 

  • Spearhead the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) tools into media performance analysis for predictive campaign optimization, in collaboration with Media Partner and Enterprise Analytics as required. 

  • Develop the Enterprise Media Newsletter, ad hoc presentations, overviews, and tactical POV’s that explain in detail media performance results to internal stakeholders.  

  • Develop appropriate testing scenarios to determine key insights and answers to key business questions. 

  • Lead cross-functional workshops and training sessions for product teams to enhance data literacy and increase use of data to support informed decision making. 

  • Oversee technology implementation, configuration and processes related to media performance data; contribute to the procurement of new technologies related to media performance analysis, as required. 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE GAME 

Education & Experience: 

  • University degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Media Management, CommunicationMarketing or a related fieldsocial media certification (Google/Facebook) preferred 

  • 5+ years of direct experience with digital media technologies or within the digital media function of an advertising agency or a large, well-established organization with significant digital media investments. Experience integrating Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning tools into media performance analysis.
