Key Responsibilities
Oracle HCM Solution Design & Development
- Design, build, and support custom Oracle HCM solutions using BI Publisher, OTBI, HCM Extracts, HDL, HSDL, Fast Formulas, Web Services, APIs, and personalizations.
- Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts, Solution Managers, Technical Leads, and Functional Leads to analyze requirements and design scalable HCM solutions.
- Support Core HR, North America Payroll, Global Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Talent Management.
Integrations & Interfaces
- Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle HCM and external systems such as Benefits Providers, Pension Vendors, Total Rewards platforms, Employee Discounts, Active Directory, and Finance systems.
- Support integrations with Oracle EBS and downstream payroll and benefits systems.
- Perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and coordinate issue resolution with Oracle and third-party vendors.
Payroll & Production Support
- Provide L2 and L3 production support across Oracle HCM modules with mandatory hands-on Payroll experience.
- Support payroll runs, retro processing, and critical payroll cycles.
- Monitor and resolve production incidents and defects within defined SLAs.
Patching, Upgrades & Continuous Improvement
- Lead Oracle quarterly HCM patching including impact analysis, regression testing, and post-patch validation.
- Research new Oracle features, perform prototyping, and support production rollouts.
- Analyze enhancement requests and propose appropriate technical solutions.
Reporting & Analytics
- Design and develop BI Publisher and OTBI reports for HR, Payroll, and Absence analytics.
- Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries to support reporting requirements.
Data Migration & Conversions
- Support data conversion programs from legacy HR and Payroll systems into Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Perform data transformation, reconciliation, and automated loads using HDL and HSDL.
Governance, Documentation & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead design workshops with business users, functional leads, and customers.
- Prepare technical design documents, unit test cases, and migration MOPs.
- Own Oracle Support Service Requests (SRs) and coordinate with Oracle technical teams.
- Mentor junior consultants and support business continuity initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 8+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud experience with strong techno-functional expertise.
- Mandatory strong Payroll experience with hands-on production support.
- Proven experience providing L2/L3 support in enterprise environments.
Technical Skills
- Oracle HCM Cloud tools including BI Publisher, OTBI, HCM Extracts.
- HDL, HSDL, Fast Formulas, REST and SOAP APIs.
- SQL and PL/SQL development experience.
