Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Operations Team Lead/Process Assistant to join our Logistics Center team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing hands-on operational management, including training, mentoring, and reporting to ensure productivity, safety, and quality goals are consistently met. You will be part of a dynamic operations team focused on the cost-effective management of day-to-day functions for the Logistics Center.
In this role, you will:
Lead and develop the operations team by overseeing, training, and providing performance feedback to associates, ensuring high productivity, quality, and safety standards are maintained.
Manage core operational functions, including the end-to-end processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing merchandise, and ensuring accurate warehouse inventory.
Develop and manage reports to track operational performance, production schedules, and resource allocation, providing actionable insights for decision-making and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of one to two years of experience in warehouse or logistics leadership, with specific experience in warehouse fulfillment or e-commerce management.
Strong knowledge of monitoring team production goals and dynamically meeting company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Proven ability to use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and apply conflict management skills to effectively resolve issues and manage team dynamics.
Capability to perform the physical requirements of the job, including frequent walking, standing, and lifting at least 40 pounds.
What We Offer (Benefits)
Salary Details: Pay is $24.00–$27.00.
Shifts/Location: The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., at our Victorville, CA location.
