Reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer Service & Logistics you will be a strategic partner supporting the Operations team in all aspects of business analysis. You will encompass Operations Planning & Analysis, Costs Analysis & Reporting, Operations Process Optimization, and Project Management. You will be a primary resource for the Operations team to provide analytical support for business initiatives and special projects. 

Job Description

OPERATIONS PLANNING & ANALYSIS

Provide analytical support for Operations KPIs, assisting with up-to-date situational analysis - identifying drivers and detractors improving success.

Develop reports, scorecards, trackers and tools that assist the Operations team in assessing performance, inclusive of quarterly and monthly budget updates and service levels to Red Bull Canada’s customers.

Provide qualitative analytics support on projects requiring financial and/or data analysis.

 

COSTS ANALYSIS & REPORTING

Prepare and evaluate Physical Distribution Costs (PDCs) reports monthly to ensure tracking of costs against planned budget and identify areas for improvement with the 3PL to increase profitability.

Develop a template to review 3PL performance in key areas of on-time and in-full outbound freight deliveries, ocean container logistics (timely pick-ups and empty returns without incurring penalty fees), and warehousing and freight costs efficiency.

Support Operations leadership with financial milestone(s) scenario planning (Revised Estimate & Business Planning), ensuring accurate forecasting and re-planning of PDCs budget.

 

OPERATIONS PROCESS OPTIMIZATION

Maintain master data for the Operations team including SKU portfolio details, consignee list for customer ship-to locations, and universal product codes in GS1 system.

Provide analysis that allows Operations team to effectively measure and communicate performance to distribution partners (service levels, on-time delivery performance, OS&D, etc.).

Identify opportunities to improve the ordering efficiency of distribution partners (full-truck loads v/s less than truck loads) by reviewing order frequency against sales volumes.

Provide analysis to Distribution and Finance teams for month-end closing operations by tracking open orders against distribution partner forecasts.

 

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Support the Operations team in the execution of any special projects (warehousing changes / roll-out of new systems or tools, sourcing changes, etc.).

Provide testing support to the Operations team in the SAP Quality environment by developing scenarios to simulate regular business operations.

Lead weekly meetings with internal and external project stakeholders, and track compliance with the workback schedule by monitoring the Operations team’s deliverables.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or related field.

2+ years relevant experience in Operations, Planning, Logistics or Project Management role. CPG experience preferred.

Strong Interpersonal, Project Management and Time Management skills.

Business Acumen, Data Analysis expertise, Analytical and Problem-Solving skills. Ability to convert analysis into insights.

Experience with SAP, well-versed in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of BI with basic level understanding of how reports are built and maintained.

Experience with Forecasting, Budgeting and/or business planning preferred.

Familiarity with Field Marketing, On-Premise, Distribution, and Sales beneficial.

Additional Information

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $105,000. The actual base salary for this position will depend on various factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience and work location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of Red Bull’s bonus plan.
