About Mundo AI

Mundo AI builds multimodal data infrastructure for frontier research labs and Fortune 100 companies, spanning audio, video, and emerging modalities to advance perceptual intelligence.

We are hiring an Operations Manager to turn complex data-project requirements into reliable execution, scalable capacity, and consistently high-quality delivery.

The Role

As an Operations Manager, you will own the operational execution of data projects. This is a hands-on role for someone who can build teams, design workflows, coordinate contractors, and keep delivery moving when conditions change.

Working closely with Product from early customer discovery through final delivery, you will help shape requirements based on operational realities and own the plan for executing them. You will determine the people, workflows, tools, capacity, and quality processes needed, while continuously feeding delivery learnings back into product and customer decisions.

What You Will Own
  • Turn project goals into a practical operating plan with clear owners, staffing, capacity, workflows, schedules, quality standards, and milestones.

  • Build and support the teams needed for delivery, including hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and accountability.

  • Run day-to-day execution, track progress, quality, cost, and risks, and act before issues affect delivery.

  • Coordinate people across teams and external partners, remove blockers, and keep decisions and handoffs clear.

  • Build repeatable processes, tools, training, reporting, and operating routines that help the company scale.

You Might Be a Fit If
  • You have led complex, execution-heavy work with many people, dependencies, deadlines, or external partners.

  • You can turn ambiguous goals into clear plans, priorities, owners, and working routines.

  • You are good at building, coordinating, coaching, and holding teams accountable.

  • You identify problems early, make sound decisions with incomplete information, and follow work through closure.

  • You are comfortable with data, spreadsheets, dashboards, and technical tools, and use them to improve decisions.

  • You communicate clearly with clients, colleagues, and leaders, and bring high agency, low ego, and hands-on judgment.

Nice to Haves
  • Experience in operations, program delivery, production, workforce management, logistics, marketplaces, or another execution-heavy environment.

  • Experience managing contractors, vendors, distributed teams, or other external partners.

  • Experience with data operations, quality systems, AI, media, or other technical work.

  • Experience with capacity planning, forecasting, cost management, or operational metrics.

  • Experience using automation, internal tools, or process design to improve how teams work.

  • Experience working across languages, regions, or cultures.

Benefits
  • Medical, dental, vision, and mental health coverage

  • Short- and long-term disability coverage

  • Health and Lifestyle Spending Accounts

  • Generous paid time off

  • Weekly team lunches and wide variety of office snacks and drinks

  • Regular team events and socials
