Job Description SummaryThe Operations Leader – Repairs will lead the Aftersales Repair Operations for the Repair Centre for Protection relays, SAS equipment, etc. This role includes working cross-functionally and liaising with dispersed teams globally to ensure quality data is being captured through our aftersales specialists and following through to ensure smooth running of operations. This role will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, product quality and strategy deployment across global operations for Grid Automation.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Repairs team, driving performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives.
  • Own repair operations strategy, serving as the primary escalation point and aligning team activities with business goals.
  • Manage workload planning, capacity forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency and on-time delivery.
  • Coach and support team members while fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee after-sales processes, quality management procedures, pricing structures, and operational compliance.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, R&D, and Global Support teams to optimize inventory, manage product lifecycle challenges, and improve service outcomes.
  • Monitor operational and quality performance metrics, analyze failure trends, and lead corrective and preventive improvement initiatives.
  • Drive Lean methodologies and process optimization efforts to eliminate bottlenecks, increase productivity, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical / electronic engineering
  • 5 years of experience in Operations and Supply Chain.

  • 5 years of experience in Lean implementation.

  • SAP/Oracle (ERP) or experience with other ERPs. Proficiency with MS office tools.

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts in non-technical terms.
  • Experience in protective relaying and substation automation equipment
  • Strong sense of urgency. 

Note:

For candidates applying to a Canadian-based position, the pay range for this position is between $92,300.00K and $115,400.00K CAD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. 

Bonus eligibility: Discretionary annual bonus
