Position Summary

We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented Onboarding Specialist to join our Client Service team. This is an entry-level role and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with clients, managing moving parts, and being part of a collaborative environment. You’ll be one of the first points of contact for new clients and play a key role in making sure their transition into our firm is smooth, efficient, and positive.

This role is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Welcome new clients and guide them through the onboarding experience.
  • Assist clients in setting up accounts and provide training on our account management and recordkeeping systems.
  • Prepare, track, and process investment account paperwork for account openings, transfers, updates, and related activities across multiple custodians in both Canada and the U.S.
  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of onboarding projects and tasks with clear timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with onboarding and client relationship teams to ensure coordinated and timely deliverables.
  • Support special projects to maintain strong compliance standards and proper documentation of client relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and enhance the client experience; help document and update standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured processes.
  • Clear communication skills and a client-first mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Experience with financial services or client support is helpful but not required.

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $60,000-65,000 CAD.  Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set.  The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.  Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
