About CloudTalk

CloudTalk is THE global AI-powered business calling platform, trusted by 30,000+ professionals at companies like Nokia, Revolut, Glovo, and Uber.

We’re building the world’s most capable AI business calling software available in 160+ countries — helping businesses have more and better calls every day. Backed by $35.3M in funding from leading investors, including KPN Ventures, Point Nine, and HenQ, we're investing in making AI native to every conversation.

We're a ~200-person team that values growth, innovation, teamwork, customer focus, and human connection. We move fast, build for the future, and care deeply about creating products — and a culture — that people genuinely love.

The Challenge Ahead

As an Onboarding Consultant, you’ll empower some of the hundreds of customers that join us every month to make the most of CloudTalk. You'll drive engagement, maximize adoption, and ensure long-term customer success, ultimately leading to seamless renewals and expansion opportunities.

We are looking for a high-energy Onboarding Consultant to guide our high-growth Micro-market customers across North America.

If you are a current SDR who has been thinking about making a strategic move into Account Management (AM), this role is your perfect window.

What’s in it for you?
  • 🚀 Be part of building the #1 AI business calling software – shape the future of business communication.
  • 🌱 Fast-track your growth – gain exposure to cross-functional teams with opportunities to move into Product, Marketing, and beyond.
  • 🌍 Join a global team – work with talented CloudTalkers across Europe, the US, and Asia, both in-person and remotely.
  • 🎯 Have a front-row seat in our journey to $100M ARR – play a key role in scaling a fast-growing SaaS company.
What You’ll Work On
  • Own the beginning of the customer journey – onboarding is the most important part of the customer's success, ensuring they see maximum value from CloudTalk from the get-go.
  • Drive timely product adoption
  • Be a trusted product expert – guide clients through best practices and help customers leverage advanced features.
  • Drive revenue retention & expansion – proactively identify opportunities for longer commitments, upsells and higher-tier plan advocacy.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Customer-first mindset – you thrive on making customers successful.
  • Technical aptitude – you enjoy learning about software products inside out and can guide customers in leveraging their full potential.
  • Industry knowledge – experience in B2B SaaS
  • Proven experience – you’ve worked in Customer Success or Onboarding or SDR/BDR role in a SaaS company.
  • Familiarity with customer tools – experience using Zendesk, Custify, Planhat, or HubSpot is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, no other language is required
🚀 Why This Role Lands Perfectly for SDRs
  • A Natural Next Step into CX: This remains a highly business-oriented, consultative role. You will use your commercial instinct to spot expansion signals and navigate strategic conversations, just from the customer side of the table.
  • A Clear Path to Account Manager: Onboarding Consultants at CloudTalk quickly build deep product expertise, manage critical account relationships, and hone their commercial drive. This role is explicitly designed to lay the ground for a seamless transition into an Account Manager (AM) role.
  • Work at the AI Frontier: You won't just be onboarding users; you will be guiding hundreds of new customers monthly to implement AI-powered communication workflows that drive actual revenue.
