Job Description

The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in administrative tasks. This role involves managing office resources, facilitating communication among departments, and supporting staff to create a productive work environment:

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage office supplies, inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Maintain efficiency within the office by establishing the best policies, standards, and procedures for their company or department.
  • Organize company-wide, corporate and internal meetings, parties, and events.
  • Coordinate office maintenance and equipment repairs.
  • Foster a positive office culture and promote teamwork.
  • Scheduling meetings and appointments within the office.
  • Other responsibilities as required by the position.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager or Administrative Assistant.
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in office management and/or administrative support roles.
  • Knowledge of Office Administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular).
  • Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers).
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Additional qualification as an administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus.
