About the Role
The People & Culture team plays a key role in KEV’s success—supporting our growth by creating an environment where people can do their best work and feel connected to the mission. We partner across the organization to strengthen culture, build strong employee programs, and deliver an exceptional day-to-day experience for every KEVite—whether they work in-office, hybrid, or remotely.
We are looking for an Employee Experience Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will own the employee experience across KEV, with a primary focus on operational excellence in our two Canadian facilities, while also creating a seamless and engaging experience for our distributed North American employee base.
You will work closely with People & Culture, Facilities, IT, Finance, and business leaders to ensure KEV’s workplace operations scale effectively as we grow. The ideal candidate is proactive, people-first, operationally strong, and thrives in fast-moving environments where building structure and improving experiences go hand-in-hand.
How You’ll Contribute
- Own the day-to-day employee experience across KEV’s Canadian facilities: Ensuring our offices are welcoming, well-run, safe, and reflect the KEV culture
- Lead workplace operations and vendor management: Facilities, building management, office services, supplies, shipping/receiving, improving consistency, reliability, and cost effectiveness
- Build an exceptional experience for distributed employees: Strengthening how remote/hybrid team members stay connected, supported, and included
- Support onboarding and “first 90 days” experiences in partnership with People & Culture: Ensuring every new hire feels set up to succeed from Day 1
- Plan and deliver meaningful employee programming: Including culture moments, recognition, engagement events, internal campaigns, and team experiences (in-person and virtual)
- Create scalable processes and playbooks for office operations, employee experience workflows, and event planning to support growth across teams and locations
- Partner cross-functionally with IT and Security: Ensuring an excellent workplace tech experience (meeting rooms, access, equipment readiness, etc.)
- Use feedback and insights to continuously improve: Collecting employee input, spotting friction points, and turning ideas into measurable improvements
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience in employee experience, workplace operations, office management, facilities, or culture/engagement roles (ideally in a scaling environment)
- Strong operational foundation - you can manage multiple priorities, vendors, budgets, and logistics without dropping the ball
- Proven ability to build inclusive experiences across hybrid and remote teams
- Confident communicator who can build trust across all levels, from individual contributors to senior leaders
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning projects end-to-end
- Known for being calm, solutions-oriented, and positive even when things change quickly
You’ll also bring strengths like:
- High ownership mindset: you take initiative, spot what’s missing, and improve it without needing to be asked
- Service-oriented leadership: you genuinely enjoy making work better for others and creating moments that matter
- Operational excellence and structure-building: you can scale programs and systems, not just run one-off events
- Strong judgement and discretion: you handle sensitive topics with professionalism and care
