Network Design and Implementation:
- Collaborate with federal clients to understand their networking requirements and design scalable and secure network architectures.
- Implement and configure network solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain network security measures in accordance with regulations.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits, addressing vulnerabilities and ensuring ongoing compliance, including adherence to best standards.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Establish and maintain monitoring systems to track network performance metrics.
- Identify and implement optimizations to enhance network efficiency and reliability.
Collaboration and Documentation:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing expertise in network design and troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations and protocols.
Incident Response and Troubleshooting:
- Act as a point of contact for network-related incidents, conducting thorough troubleshooting and providing timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address and mitigate security incidents.
- Google cloud (GCP), AWS and MicroStrategy
- Leads other architects with minimal supervision and uses independent judgement frequently.
- Responsible for architecting systems across a broad range of IT or Network environments, including the target environment. Designs and develops IT or Network architecture (integrated process, applications, data and technology) solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards.
- Takes responsibility for technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications.
- Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings
- Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.
- Work hours are Monday - Friday, normal 37.5 hours weeks working onsite 3 days a week
- Location: Toronto, Hybrid 3 days in person
