Hear us out : this is not a pure developer role, and it is not a purely strategic architect seat either. It is a hybrid mandate for someone who can both design the right structure and execute the work required to get us there. Reporting to our CEO, you will be responsible for strengthening and evolving Dulcedo’s NetSuite environment so that it becomes a more stable, scalable, and well-governed financial operating system. You will assess the current environment, identify risks and opportunities, partner closely with Finance, and help create a cleaner and more reliable way for the system to support the business over time. You will act as both:
>> the architect, defining structure, priorities, and long-term systems direction
>> and the builder, directly executing high-impact improvements across workflows, scripts, reporting, and automations
This is a rare opportunity for someone who wants to combine technical depth with business influence and leave a lasting mark on how a growing company operates!
What You'll be Responsible For
- Assess Dulcedo’s current NetSuite environment, including scripts, workflows, permissions, reporting, integrations, and customizations, to identify risks, inefficiencies, and technical debt.
- Define a clearer target-state architecture for our finance systems, aligned with reporting needs, business processes, controls, and future scale.
- Partner closely with Accounting and internal stakeholders to map current-state and future-state workflows, ownership, approvals, and dependencies across key financial processes.
- Build and maintain high-impact NetSuite solutions directly, including SuiteScript customizations, SuiteFlow workflows, dashboards, automations, and reporting tools.
- Lead architectural decisions around how the platform should evolve, while remaining hands-on in execution where needed.
- Prioritize and manage the NetSuite backlog in a way that balances immediate business needs with long-term system health and scalability.
- Improve the internal structure of delivery by reinforcing better standards around intake, UAT, release readiness, documentation, and post-launch maintenance.
- Design and implement workflows that reduce manual work, improve financial visibility, and increase operational reliability.
- Reduce reliance on external consultants by bringing more of the architecture and build capability in-house.
- Bring a strong systems mindset to broader finance tooling and integration conversations as the business continues to scale.
What Success Looks Like
Who You Are
- You bring 8–12+ years of experience in NetSuite and/or ERP systems, with strong exposure to both technical execution and solution / architecture ownership.
- You have deep hands-on expertise in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, reporting, dashboards, roles/permissions, and NetSuite customization.
- You know how to step into an existing environment, assess what is fragile or inefficient, and define a smarter path forward.
- You are comfortable building directly, but you also naturally think in terms of systems, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
- You have experience supporting Finance / Accounting workflows and can translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
- You bring strong judgment around prioritization, governance, UAT, documentation, and release discipline.
- You operate well independently, can bring clarity to ambiguity, and are comfortable working in an evolving business.
- You communicate well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You are someone who wants to own meaningful infrastructure, not just execute tickets.
- Bonus points if you have :
>>NetSuite certifications
>> integration architecture experience
>> consulting or NetSuite partner experience
>> broader finance systems transformation exposure
Why This Role Is Exciting
This role offers the chance to do much more than maintain a system. You will help shape how a growing company thinks about structure, systems, and scale. You will work closely with Finance leadership, have real influence on priorities, and build solutions that materially improve how the business runs.
For the right person, this is a role with both immediate impact and long-term upside!
The Kind of Person Who Will Thrive Here
The ideal person for this role thinks like an architect and executes like a builder. You are curious, grounded, and strong in complexity. You know how to create structure without overcomplicating things. You are motivated by solving real business problems, not just shipping technical work. And you care about leaving behind systems that are smarter, cleaner, and stronger than the ones they inherited.
