Slate is a new US company that is exploring opportunities in the electric vehicle space. 

Who we are looking for

Our NetSuite Analyst will support and enhance Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES)Plant Floor systems.  The analyst works closely with teams across the organization to understand their business processes, identify their needs, and provide solutions using the ERP and MES systems. The analyst will also troubleshoot issues, perform testing, train users, and document changes.

Central Midwest location in a highly desirable mid-size community. Must be willing to relocate to Slate manufacturing plant location.

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.  We are unable to financially sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for this opportunity currently.

What you get to do

  • Analyze and optimize NetSuite ERP and MES (TBD) systems for the manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, inventory management, quality control, supply planning and costing.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and finance teams to capture requirements, design solutions, and implement changes using NetSuite ERP and MES systems.
  • Provide functional support and troubleshooting for NetSuite ERP and MES systems, resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Perform testing and validation of NetSuite ERP and MES systems, ensuring its functionality, accuracy, and compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Train and assist users on NetSuite ERP and MES systems, creating and updating user manuals, guides, and documentation.
  • Monitor and report on the performance and usage of NetSuite ERP and MES systems, identifying and recommending improvements and enhancements.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the ERP and MES fields, evaluating and adopting new technologies and best practices

What you bring to the team

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related work experiences.
  • 5+ years of experience in ERP system analysis, configuration, and support, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in NetSuite ERP systems using Work Requests, Assembly Items, MRP and EDI.
  • 5+ years of experience working with MES systems.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite of tools.
  • Knowledge of related systems such as Product Life Cycle Management (PLM), Quality Management System (QMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Superb communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and projects.
  • Meticulous, organized, and quality-focused.
