We are looking for a National Sales Representative to help grow our business and contribute to our future.
Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring all eligible ESC/Repilot inventory is actively promoted for sale through vendor partners across Canada. The position evaluates vehicle bids and makes sales decisions based on vehicle conditions, in accordance with approved authority limits.
The role also manages exception files, escalating complex issues and transactions requiring additional approval to the Sales Manager as needed. In addition, this position supports the timely release of secondary liens to ensure vehicles can be resold without delay or complication.
What you’ll do:
- Obtaining sale line ups/block summaries from vendors across Canada, and ensuring that all appropriate inventory is being promoted by those vendors
- Reviewing sale prices from buyers to ensure maximum equity is obtained based on vehicle condition
- Arranging for vehicle relocation to different vendors if sale prices are too low
- Obtaining 2nd lien releases from second or third parties who have an interest on the security which comes after the financial institution
- Responsible for handling site sales across Canada (cars or trailers not sold at auctions)
What you’ll bring:
- The successful candidate will have post-secondary education, along with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the repossession and remarketing industry; industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong time management skills
- Basic ability to operate Microsoft Office platform
- Ability to solve problems using critical thinking, and to escalate problems/challenges when and where necessary
