The Key Account Manager will report to the National Account Manager and play an integral role in supporting world class account management by working closely with Sephora merchants in collaboration with SharkNinja corporate teams (sales planning, category planning & analysis, omni channel, supply chain, customer service and finance) to meet sales & profit, distribution, and digital goals across assigned categories on one of our most complex and strategically important business units.
What You'll Get to Do
  • Demonstrate best-in-class account management, supporting growth in revenue and net margin to help us achieve and exceed our goals.
  • Contribute to the strategic plan for the account and own execution against it for your assigned categories, including supporting market share growth for both the retailer and SharkNinja.
  • Act as the day-to-day owner of your assigned categories - partnering with cross-functional teams and applying financial and analytical savvy to hit aggressive goals.
  • For assigned categories, support customer profitability, working closely with internal teams on new item strategies and financials, and track promotional spending against ROI goals.
  • Embrace being in the details and running the business with a bottoms-up approach.
  • Support Omni-Channel execution, including in-store placement goals and online penetration targets while supporting profit-related initiatives.
  • Build the financial analysis and scenario modeling that informs critical decisions, understanding what comprises and drives contribution margin $ and %.
  • Prepare for and participate in customer meetings, building the materials and analysis that drive the story.
  • Stay execution- and detail-focused, mindful of key milestones, with a demonstrated ability to create and adhere to a schedule to ensure success.
  • Work with the Demand Planning and Supply Chain teams to support the flow of goods, including the monthly forecast cycle and long-range plans.
  • Work with Category Analysis teams to report POS, trends, and factors impacting the business - surfacing insights both internally and with the customer.
  • Deliver flawless execution for SharkNinja and Sephora.

Attributes & Skills
  • Working knowledge of how to drive sales at beauty retailers within fast-paced, ever-changing categories; experience supporting Sephora, Ulta or other retailers within these verticals a plus.
  • Gritty sales professional, detail-oriented and execution-focused, with an eye toward developing strategic vision.
  • Track record of embracing challenges, overcoming obstacles, and being a team player not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get into the details.
  • Solid business acumen and analytical skills, complemented by effective oral and written communication.
  • Strong analytical skills to gather and analyze large data sets; ability to automate reporting is a true advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience supporting promotional execution during key periods.
  • Ability to thrive in SharkNinja's fast-paced, "obsessed with winning" culture.

Requirements
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of account sales management, sales analysis, or equivalent experience within buying and/or merchandising at retail.
  • Sephora or beauty retail experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Retail Link / Scintilla experience a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 6 times per year to Headquarters and other events.
  • Experience in durable goods categories a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Pay Range
$109,200-$178,300 USD
