Our National Account Manager role is a critical position because you must understand the needs of the business while supporting our client and our salesforce. This person will be the right hand of our Canadian market, specifically our Retail, Residential and B2B campaigns. The ideal candidate must have a strong aptitude for being a player/coach and leader with a consultative approach. Happy to roll up your sleeves frequently and figure things out, while also capable of strategy and high-level assessments to ensure the business is moving in the right direction.

Role Responsibilities

• Acting as a liaison between our Fortune 500 clients and our sales force in a way that grows and improves relationships

• Delivering results through executing against goals (sometimes through getting out in the field yourself and helping the sales reps)

• Training and coaching our sales force on both product and process in a fun and engaging way

• Pro-actively identifying issues that may arise and working to quickly find a winning resolution through problem-solving, collaboration, and creativity

• Acting with integrity and holding our sales force to a high level of sales quality

• Collaborating both internally and externally to execute with excellence

• Communicating clearly and effectively across a diverse range of stakeholders

• Managing to a budget and regularly consulting with your P&L to ensure you are delivering on scorecard metrics

• Successfully launching new sales offices, ensuring they are plugged into all client and Cydcor support systems and are trained in product knowledge, sales processes, and systems/procedures through organizational agility

• Ensuring that sales offices and reps consistently represent the client accurately and with quality

• Driving sales office performance, meeting client and campaign goals for profitability and growth in a way that grows relationships and trust

• Execution of campaign initiatives, driving and handling follow-up support

• Providing regular feedback to management on the status of sales offices and action plan updates

• Field leader; capable of meeting campaign sales and quality standards and coaching/mentoring reps, peers and possibly direct reports to do the same

• Strong judgment and business acumen. Knowing when to take action, when to escalate things and have a sixth sense for assessing business risk and growth opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field/equivalent work experience

• 5+ years of retail store management experience; hands-on retail experience is strongly preferred for this role

• 5+ years of leading a sales team

• Experience in B2B, door-to-door, and residential sales is highly preferred

• Experience with budgets and budget planning

• Experience driving revenue through indirect sales teams (vendor or distributor partner management experience an asset)

• Experience with process improvement and consulting

• Bilingual (French) is a plus, but not a requirement

• Excellent communication skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Products

• Experience managing a P&L

• Valid passport required; while travel will be primarily within Canada, there may be occasional travel to the US 1 to 2 times per year

Working Conditions

This is a remote position. Candidates located on the East Coast of Canada are strongly preferred, particularly bilingual candidates in Montreal or Toronto.

• Travel within Canada (30-35% of the time)

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • 100% remote flexibility (with travel to client sites/events)

  • Career growth in client services, experiential marketing, and program management
  • Exposure to cross-functional teams (finance, operations, field leadership)
