About The Role

Our Motion Graphics Design Team plays a key role in refining and enhancing content from our Creator Community - now over 20,000 strong - before it’s shared with our clients. In this role, you’ll work on a wide variety of projects, fine-tuning content to meet social best practices, align with client requirements, and most importantly, ensure it performs effectively on its target platform!


This is a dynamic, hands-on position where you’ll collaborate closely with our wider Creative Team to craft standout content that truly shines!

Must-haves:

  • Advanced skills in After Effects & Premiere (2-4+ years experience), plus experience with Photoshop & Illustrator.
  • A strong portfolio of social content created for a variety of brands.
  • Deep understanding of social platforms like TikTok, Snapchat, and Instagram - you’re a true social native.
  • You’re based in the Toronto, Ontario area.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Agency or consultancy experience, with exposure to diverse clients and industries.
  • An organized, methodical approach to work - we love tidy AE files!
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams and working alongside other Motion Graphics Designers.

Who You’ll Report To

You’ll report to Remi, our Creative Director, who’s been with Vidsy since 2019. Remi helped establish our North American presence, launching first in NYC and now expanding into Toronto. Known for fostering high-performing teams, mentoring talent, and driving creative success, he also brings a fun side to the mix - he’s particularly partial to a Pickle Back during company socials!


The Interview Process

📞 20 minutes – Introductory call with a member of our Talent Team.

👩‍💻 60 minutes – Video interview with Remi to discuss the role and your experience.

📚 Task – A short task to showcase your After Effects skills.

🧑‍💻 90 minutes – Final interview with team members, including a discussion about your task and how your experience aligns to our Vidsy Values (Raise the Bar, Learn Everyday, Unleash Creativity & Be Brave)

💰 Competitive Salary: $55,000–$75,000 CAD (based on experience).
