We are seeking a versatile and highly skilled Mixed Reality (MR) Systems Integration Engineer to join our innovative development team. This role is central to building immersive, real-time interactive experiences that seamlessly blend virtual and physical environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience integrating various hardware and software components, including Virtual Reality (VR) systems, haptic feedback devices, motion capture technology (mocap), and robust communication stacks, to create cohesive and high-performance interactive platforms.

What you'll do

  • Systems Integration: Architect, develop, and maintain end-to-end integration of VR and haptic devices, motion capture hardware, and network communication protocols into a unified system architecture.
  • Software Development: Design, develop, and optimize high-performance software modules using C++, ensuring reliable interaction between physical hardware and virtual environments.
  • Haptics and Mocap Implementation: Implement and refine haptic feedback algorithms and control systems to provide realistic touch sensations. Integrate motion capture data pipelines to accurately track and replicate user movement in real-time.
  • Communication Stacks: Develop and support efficient communication stacks (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, specific industrial protocols) for low-latency, real-time data transfer between sensors, central processing units, and user interfaces.

What you'll need to get the job done

  • 5-10 years of professional experience in systems integration or real-time software development.
  • Proficiency in C++ for high-performance, real-time applications.

  • Solid understanding of real-time systems and low-latency data pipelines.
  • Experience developing and maintaining communication stacks (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP) for real-time data transfer.
  • Proven ability to architect and debug complex hardware - software integrated systems.

What will make us REALLY love you

  • Experience implementing haptic feedback algorithms or force-feedback control.
  • Familiarity with teleoperation or human-in-the-loop systems.
  • Experience with motion capture pipelines and real-time pose tracking.
  • Exposure to VR engines or visualization frameworks (e.g., Unity, Unreal).
