What You’ll Do- Develop and maintain REST APIs using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot
- Build microservices powering FX order flow, pricing, and trade execution
- Integrate APIs with PostgreSQL and other data providers
- Collaborate with front-end teams to align API contracts and workflows
- Write maintainable, testable code aligned with industry best practices
- Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to backend design
- Troubleshoot trading-related performance issues and optimize latency
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies including planning, estimation, and reviews
- 5+ years backend Java development experience
- Strong experience with Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Spring MVC
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices
- Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Familiarity with performance tuning and concurrency
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile workflows
- Ability to work independently in a greenfield engineering environment
- Experience with FX trading, capital markets, or financial applications
- Exposure to Kafka or other messaging systems
- Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with real-time or event-driven processing
