Mimica is an AI-powered process intelligence platform enabling enterprises and individuals to reclaim their most precious resource: time. We've all seen repetitive tasks and redundant processes quietly drain productivity and creativity. Not because companies don’t want to become more efficient, but because they don’t know where to start.
At the click of a button, Mimica identifies every process improvement and agentic AI opportunity across an enterprise. Our software turns everyday work into data-backed decisions, helping companies remove process bottlenecks, automate the right tasks, and upskill teams with precision and confidence.
We’ve raised $26 million in Series B financing and are scaling fast. Backed by investors including Khosla Ventures and Paladin Capital, our proprietary AI technology is trusted by Fortune 500 companies to accelerate transformation. Mimica is recognized as a Top 100 AI Start-up by Accel and an industry Leader by the Everest Group.
Behind our platform is a team of exceptionally talented people, remote-first and globally distributed across 16+ countries. We're looking for curious, collaborative people excited to solve complex problems. You'll join a fast-paced environment built on high ownership, bottom-up thinking, and transparent, open communication – helping some of the world's leading organizations transform the way work gets done with AI.
Your mission
Mimica is growing rapidly, and we’re expanding our IT Operations capability to ensure our global team has a secure, seamless, and scalable technology experience as we scale.
As our second IT Ops Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how IT works at Mimica, not simply maintain it. You’ll improve the systems and processes that keep teams productive, connected, and secure, while providing support to colleagues worldwide.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys combining operational excellence with problem-solving and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with Platform, Security, and Delivery teams, helping build the foundations that allow Mimica to grow confidently and enable every employee to do their best work.
Part of your day-to-day
Administer and optimize core IT and collaboration tools including JumpCloud, GSuite, Slack, Notion and Remote, ensuring secure and seamless access for globally distributed teams.
Manage company-issued laptops and other devices, maintaining OS configuration and compliance with IT and InfoSec policies.
Lead and continuously improve onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring timely provisioning and deprovisioning of access and IT assets across cloud and SaaS environments.
Own identity and access management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), and conduct periodic access reviews to meet evolving security requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day IT issues—including access permissions and cloud networking operations (e.g., VPCs, firewalls, routing rules, IAM configurations)—with a focus on minimizing downtime for business-critical teams.
Participate in platform and tooling rollouts, contributing to implementation, testing, and support of new IT systems and policies.
Develop and maintain clear internal documentation of IT processes, troubleshooting guides, and onboarding materials to scale knowledge sharing and reduce dependency.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Platform, Security, and Delivery teams to identify and execute automation opportunities (e.g. via Terraform or similar IaC tools).
Approach support and project work with a service-oriented mindset, taking initiative to streamline workflows and preempt recurring issues.
What you will bring
Experience supporting and configuring cloud-based IT environments, especially SaaS tools and Google Workspace.
Hands-on experience with access management and IAM configurations across cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
Understanding of basic to intermediate network operations—especially in the context of cloud networking (e.g., GCP VPCs, IAM roles, routing rules).
Clear, concise communicator—comfortable collaborating across global teams and explaining technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
Service-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize and resolve requests that impact business-critical teams.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a methodical, self-directed troubleshooting approach.
Bonus
Deep expertise with Windows or Mac OS.
