Co-Founder & Chief Growth Officer — White Wing Insurance Solutions
Location: Remote (Southern California / Texas preferred) Type: Co-Founder / Equity Partner Compensation: Equity + Draw + Performance-Based (see details below) Industry: Insurance Distribution / Insurtech
We're not hiring. We're looking for a partner.
White Wing Insurance Solutions is an insurtech company that has built AgentEase — an integrated platform that provides independent insurance agents with everything they need to succeed: back-office infrastructure, CRM, quoting tools, marketing automation, carrier access, commission processing, and compliance support. All in one place.
We've spent six years building the platform, the carrier relationships, the legal infrastructure, and the operational playbooks. We have 156 affiliated agents across multiple states. What we haven't built yet is the revenue engine that turns all of this into a market leader. That's where you come in.
We're looking for a Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer — someone who will own the sales operation, recruit agents, convert leads into paying members, drive premium production, and build the revenue that makes everything else matter.
The CEO handles vision, strategy, investor relations, carrier partnerships, and platform development. You handle sales, recruitment, activation, and growth. Two founders, two functions. The architect and the engine.
What's already built
- AgentEase platform: integrated AMS, CRM, quoting, marketing automation, and commission processing for independent insurance agents
- Three producer tracks: AgentEase (full platform, $99–$199/mo membership), Split-Only (50/50 commission split, no fee), and a Recruiting & Override program for agents who want to build a downline
- 156 affiliated agents across multiple states with a direct conversion pipeline
- Complete legal and compliance infrastructure: producer agreements, onboarding documentation, account management services agreement, and multi-state compliance framework
- Growth Engine Roadmap: a 12-week implementation plan for automated agent acquisition, onboarding, and marketing
- Carrier relationships: Guardian Life, Colonial Life, Blue Shield CA, Anthem, Kaiser Permanente, and others
What you'll do
Sales & Revenue Production (60% of your time)
- Own the top line. You are personally responsible for membership revenue, commission volume, and premium production.
- Sell AgentEase memberships directly to licensed insurance agents through outreach, conversations, webinars, and broker events.
- Drive group enrollment and carrier production — working directly with employer groups and individual clients to generate premium.
- Manage and grow your own book of business on the platform, demonstrating the system's value through your own results.
- Build and manage the sales pipeline from lead to activated, producing agent.
- Hit quarterly revenue targets.
Agent Recruitment & Activation (25%)
- Recruit licensed producers into all three tracks and guide them through onboarding.
- Execute automated marketing funnels, paid advertising campaigns, and agent recruitment outreach.
- Leverage your existing network to bring producers onto the platform.
- Represent White Wing at carrier conferences, broker events, and industry functions.
Team & Operations (15%)
- Work with the existing team (Head of Administration, Benefits Counselor, Technology & Platform Specialist) to ensure smooth operations.
- Hire additional sales support as revenue growth justifies.
- Support expansion into the Texas market.
The "Bring Your Book" opportunity
We are especially interested in candidates who have built an existing book of business that has plateaued — or that they want to scale beyond what they can do alone.
If you have a book generating steady renewal revenue but you've hit the ceiling of what's possible as a solo operator, this is a fundamentally different proposition: merge or bring your book onto the AgentEase platform, gain access to full back-office infrastructure and technology, and earn equity in the company itself.
- Your existing clients transfer under a Co-Broker of Record arrangement. You retain ownership of your client relationships.
- White Wing handles administration, renewals, claims, and servicing.
- Revenue from your book is shared per an agreed schedule — and you earn equity on top of your commission share.
- Your book becomes the foundation of immediate revenue for the partnership, eliminating the cold-start problem.
This is not a sale of your book. It is a strategic merger of assets into a platform designed to make your book worth more.
If you bring a meaningful book ($150K–$500K+ in annual premium), your equity stake is adjusted upward to reflect that value.
Who you are
You fit one of these profiles:
The Plateaued Producer. You've built a solid book — maybe $100K–$500K in annual premium — but you've hit the ceiling. You're doing everything yourself: sales, service, renewals, admin, marketing. You know you need infrastructure to grow, but you don't want to give up independence by joining a big brokerage. You want a platform, not a boss.
The Agency Builder. You've worked at an FMO, IMO, MGA, or aggregator and you know how to recruit and activate agents. You have a network of licensed professionals who trust you. You've always wanted to build your own thing but didn't want to start from scratch — negotiate the carrier contracts, set up compliance, build the platform. That work is done. You bring the sales engine.
The Corporate Escapee. You've had a successful career at a carrier, brokerage, or benefits firm, but you're done working for someone else's vision. You have the skills, the license, and the rolodex. You want ownership, autonomy, and the chance to build something that's yours.
Must-haves:
- Active state insurance license (Life & Health, preferably multi-state)
- 5+ years of insurance sales or distribution experience with a track record of personal production
- An existing book of business you're willing to bring onto the platform — OR — an established network of 20+ licensed agents you can recruit within 90 days
- Ability to personally produce. This is a player-coach role, not a clipboard manager. You sell, you recruit, you close.
- Self-starter mentality. This is an early-stage company. There is no large team. You are building the machine.
- Willingness to work on an equity-heavy, performance-driven compensation model
Strong-fit indicators:
- Experience at an FMO, IMO, MGA, or insurance aggregator
- Familiarity with group health, ancillary/voluntary benefits, life, or individual health markets
- Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation
- Entrepreneurial background: prior co-founder, independent agency owner, or startup experience
- Comfort with webinars, content creation, and public-facing recruitment
Compensation
This is a co-founder opportunity, not a salaried position. Compensation is structured to reward the person who builds the revenue:
Equity: 15–25% of White Wing Insurance Solutions, LLC. The exact percentage depends on experience, network, and whether you bring an existing book of business. Standard 4-year vesting with 1-year cliff. You earn economic interest (profit sharing and distributions). The CEO retains voting control. Double-trigger acceleration on acquisition.
Base draw: $3,000–$5,000/month during the build phase. This is not market-rate — it covers your basics while you focus on growth. The draw increases as the company hits revenue milestones. Once we reach $15K+/month in recurring revenue, your compensation adjusts toward market rate.
Commission override: 10–15% of every new AgentEase membership you sell or generate through the marketing systems you build. This is recurring — it compounds as the membership base grows.
Performance bonuses: Cash bonuses and accelerated vesting tied to milestones (50 members, 100 members, $10K MRR, $25K MRR, Texas launch).
Year 1 total cash (illustrative): $39,000–$100,000 depending on performance, plus equity vesting. The real upside is in the equity — if we reach $500K–$1M in annual revenue, a 20% stake could be worth $300K–$600K+.
What this role is NOT
This is not a salaried VP of Sales position at an established company. There is no large team to manage on day one. There is no guaranteed six-figure base. This is a co-founder opportunity with real equity ownership, real upside, and real accountability.
If you need structure, predictability, and a support system to function, this is not the right fit. If you are the person who creates those things, this is your opportunity.
How to apply
Send the following to [email protected] with the subject line "Co-Founder Application — [Your Name]":
- A brief note (not a formal cover letter) explaining why this role interests you and what you would bring in the first 90 days.
- Your resume or LinkedIn profile.
- Your insurance license information (state, lines of authority, NPN).
- A candid assessment: how many licensed insurance agents could you personally introduce to the platform within 6 months?
- If applicable: a summary of your existing book of business (approximate annual premium, lines, client count).
- Your compensation expectations and any questions about the equity structure.
