Job Description

1) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively liaise with business users, members of project team, strategic technology partners and internal technical support teams.. 
2) Effective time management and organization skills with the ability to use diplomacy, judgement, and persuasion to secure agreement and co-operation from support areas and the project team. 
3) Indepth knowledge of MDM solutions and experience designing or building interfaces on MDM. Indepth knowledge of core MDM services especially Party and Account Domain is preferred. 
4) Indepth knowledge of DB2 and experience designing or supporting large, mission critical databases including performance tuning 
5) Indepth knowledge and experience with PL/SQL, UNIX Operating System/Scripting/Commands, JAVA/JSP/Servlet/ technologies, J2EE technologies, XML, HTML, Websphere, Unicentre, MQueue, Storage Area Networks, Communication Networks, Windows Client, Windows Server, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) 
6) Independently resolve complex, multi-faceted problems to meet the business needs for Customer Systems, and other Technology Application Group. 
7) Ensure that requirements are clearly, accurately and thoroughly documented and understood either for system changes or process changes and that there is value and consistency added to improve the customer experience. 
8) Maintain a sound knowledge of the Bank's systems and current processes affecting the development and operation of banking systems. 
9) Manage multiple medium and large sized projects and/or manage specific sections projects to implement solutions to business problems. 
10) Participate in the systems implementation process by contributing to business requirements and processes, preparing external design document and, at times, test cases, defining user procedures and workflows and providing post-implementation support. 
The incumbent must be capable of and comfortable in dealing with the demand needs of technical groups and business users. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that management is kept informed and that problems and issues are escalated appropriately. 
The following skills are desirable: 
1) Good knowledge of retail banking products and services 
2) Good knowledge of the MDM product domain. 
2) Very good understanding of current IT practices and systems development techniques, including system specifications and testing methodologies 
3) Experience delivering application solutions using the iWay Tool Suite from Information Builders 
4) Experience delivering integration or enterprise service bus (ESB) solutions
