About Aleph

Aleph is an AI-native platform for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), an established software category with a multi-billion market but no clear winner. We’re trying to solve a problem many finance teams are super familiar with: data scattered across a million systems, endless spreadsheets and way too much time spent getting numbers to line up instead of actually using them to make decisions.

Aleph was founded by Albert Gozzi and Santiago Perez De Rosso, two technical founders with backgrounds from Stanford and MIT and experience working at top-tier companies such as Google, Microsoft and Bain & Company. We’re backed by top VCs (Khosla Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, YC, Picus Capital), and work with customers like Webflow, Notion, Zapier, Y Combinator and many others.

We are hiring remotely across the Americas (United States, Canada, LATAM).

About the role

We're looking for an MBA summer intern to own one high-impact project over ~10–12 weeks. Not a rotational program. Not shadowing. Not slide-making for someone else's meeting. A real, contained project with a measurable business outcome - understand scope during Week 1 with your hiring manager, shipping results through Week 12, and owned by you end-to-end.

There are currently three projects we could match you with, based on your background and what's most pressing at the time of hire:

  • 🎯 GTM - Sales Enablement - Hiring manager: Reid Gridley

    • Create the infrastructure to help our sales team become faster and sharper using AI tools to systematically capture, create, and update content. Think pre-demo qualification playbooks, standardized async demo assets, and objection-handling scripts that free up sales engineers’ (SBLs) calendar time for the deals that actually matter. You'll get your hands on real HubSpot data, real closed-won and closed-lost deals, and real feedback from AEs and SEs in the loop.

  • 🧭 Product - Golden Path Deployment - Hiring manager: Sebastian Kontarovsky

    • Aleph is an incredibly powerful and flexible piece of software, but finance teams need applied use-cases instead of a blank canvas to get a better sense of everything it can do. Our ‘Golden Paths’ bridge that gap: they are templatized implementations that combine software, AI and spreadsheets to rethink the CFO's most complex processes. Pick one or two high-leverage finance workflows (Revenue Forecasting, Cash Flow Modelling, BvA Analysis), and build a world-class solution end to end. Design its elements, get it in front of real customers, and iterate until adoption is real and measurable.

  • 🛠️ BizOps — Scaling NDR Growth - Hiring manager: Augusto Viotti Bozzini

    • Turn documented playbooks into running systems. We already defined clear Renewal and Implementation workflows, and are looking to scale it across all our existing and upcoming customers. We're looking for someone that's passionate about helping turn that playbook into actual impact — all impacting our core metric, NDR. Building AI Agents to build the processes that make consistent execution a given rather than a hope.

What you'll do
  • Work with your hiring manager in Week 1 to scope the project, lock the success metric, and set the plan

  • Meet stakeholders across Aleph — CEO, CTO, the function leader, the teammates you'll collaborate with daily, and 3–5 customers when relevant

  • Run the diagnostic work to understand the real problem (data analysis, customer interviews, process mapping — whatever the project needs)

  • Ship the first working version of the solution and pilot it with a subset of prospects/users

  • Iterate based on what actually happens in the wild

  • Write the documentation, build the tooling, or record the training so your work outlives the summer

  • Present final results to the leadership team in Week 12

Along the way: show up in standups, contribute in Slack, push back when something doesn't make sense. We hire low-ego, high-ownership people regardless of tenure.

Who you are

Required:

  • Current MBA student at a top program, completing your summer between Year 1 and Year 2

  • 2+ years of pre-MBA experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity / VC, strategic finance, or a high-growth tech operator role

  • Strong analytical chops — comfortable building models in Excel / Google Sheets and pulling insights from messy data

  • Clear written and verbal communicator — you can take a complex problem and distill it into a crisp one-pager that a CEO can act on

  • Ownership mindset — you take a loosely-scoped problem and drive it to a concrete outcome without hand-holding

  • Genuine interest in B2B SaaS, finance, or AI — not "a summer at any startup"

  • Comfortable in a remote, async-first environment across the Americas

Nice to have:

  • Prior FP&A, finance team, or RevOps experience (operator or advisor)

  • Technical fluency — SQL, comfort with AI tools (Claude, Cursor, n8n), or a track record of "vibe coding" your way to working prototypes

  • Pre-MBA experience at an early-stage tech startup (Seed, Series A–B)

  • Familiarity with one of our customer segments — growth-stage SaaS or PE-backed portfolio companies

  • Post-MBA interest in joining a startup full-time (bonus: interest in joining Aleph)

While this is a remote-first opportunity, we're focusing on candidates within the Americas to better align with our working hours as a team.
