Our mission is to simplify Team Management and improve performance for restaurants, with a long-term vision of elevating what restaurant teams can achieve together.

As the Marketing Automation Manager at 7shifts, you will drive impactful, technology-focused marketing campaigns across the entire customer lifecycle. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations, you’ll implement, develop, and optimize industry-leading tools such as Marketo, AppCues, Outreach, and Chili Piper to enhance our business impact and further 7shifts’ mission to simplify team management for restaurants. Serving as the go-to technical expert for Email, Chat, In-App, and Push channels, you’ll identify trends and growth opportunities to unlock new opportunities for growth across the Marketing team.

We’re building an inclusive work environment that is representative of the diverse industry we have the pleasure of serving and we encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply.

What you’ll do:

  • Build integrated and data-driven marketing automation workflows across all channels to drive impactful results throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Drive the implementation, adoption, and evolution of marketing technologies to improve efficiencies and support growth
  • Oversee data cleansing, QA, and compliance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of 7shifts' marketing campaigns
  • Develop and analyze campaign performance reports, identifying opportunities for testing and enhancements to optimize future campaigns
  • Collaborate closely with RevOps and Data teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing technology within 7shifts' broader ecosystem
  • Maintain and update documentation to reflect current requirements and configurations across our programs and processes

What you bring:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing Marketing Automation platforms (Marketo preferred)
  • Proven experience building and optimizing integrated campaigns – you’ve successfully driven results across Email, Chat, In-App, and Push channels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - you can develop actionable insights across the marketing lifecycle
  • Excellent  project management, communication, and organizational skills – these are your superpowers in executing and streamlining complex initiatives
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience – you’re skilled in working with RevOps, Sales, and Product teams to achieve shared goals
  • Comprehensive knowledge of data privacy compliance – you ensure all campaigns align with CASL, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR

It’d be even cooler if you had:

  • Marketo certification
  • Experience with product-led growth (PLG)organizations
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and data management platforms
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SQL

  • Equity: Equity in a Series C, VC-backed SaaS company—enabling every team member to be an owner of their future success!
  • Health and Wellness: Competitive health benefits right from the start, lifestyle spending accounts, access to corporate discounts, and a parental leave program that supports caregivers during an important time in their lives
  • Flexibility: Our team is intentional around how and where we work—whether that’s remotely, in person at our Toronto and Saskatoon offices, or a mix of both. Plus, we offer a flexible vacation policy to encourage everyone to recharge when they need it. Oh, and a ‘90 Day Shift’ program that supports our team members in exploring the world
  • Support: We set our team members up for success with the latest Apple technology, a home office set up, and some fun 7shifts swag to make it official! Plus, we take professional growth seriously and support this through coaching, IDPs, peer and leader feedback, internal promotions, and more
