Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Marketing Specialist to join our Canadian Marketing team. This role focuses on optimizing our website to maximize revenue generation and supporting the marketing efforts to launch new products developed by our product team, ensuring successful go-to-market strategies and product adoption. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, experience with website optimization, is a creative problem solver, and has a passion for driving measurable business results through data-driven improvements.
Position Responsibilities
- Analyze website performance, user behavior, and conversion funnels to identify opportunities for revenue optimization
- Design and execute A/B tests, page optimizations and user experience improvements in collaboration with our Content & Creative, Product and Development teams to increase conversion rates
- Manage launch and updating of content for www.carfax.ca using our content management system (CMS)
- Partner with product and sales teams to create go-to-market materials, product messaging, and launch communications for new products and enhancements
- Lead development of email marketing campaigns to generate awareness and drive conversion for CARFAX Canada’s products and programs
- Write compelling and effective copy for website, portal, landing pages and email communications.
- Direct creative and content team in the development of website pages and marketing materials
- Building strong relationships with vertical leaders to understand their business and customers
- Analyze product adoption and launch performance metrics
Position Requirements
- Post-secondary education, college diploma or university degree is required. (focus on business, marketing and/or Analytics is considered an asset)
- 2-4 years of prior digital marketing, web optimization and product marketing experience
- Strong analytical skills with experience in website analytics and conversion optimization
- Experience with A/B testing platforms (Optimizely, VWO, or similar)
- Understanding of e-commerce metrics, conversion funnels, and revenue optimization
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a cross-functional environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work
- Critical thinker with ability to proactively identify issues and opportunities. Not afraid to ask
questions or challenge the status quo - Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), email marketing platforms, content management systems, Confluence and JIRA
- Experience with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
- Bilingualism (French) and experience in the automotive industry is considered an asset
Compensation
At CARFAX Canada, we believe in fair, transparent, and equitable compensation. This role has an annual salary range of $60,500 - $83,000 CAD.
