Job Title: Marketing, Senior Advisor SEO
Job Summary:
As a Marketing Advisor specializing in SEO, you will be the architect behind our client-facing websites, ensuring they meet customer needs and drive business growth. Your role is pivotal in analyzing market demands, crafting and executing SEO strategies to enhance product discoverability, and ensuring our dominance in the SERPs.
You will spearhead the SEO roadmap, lead feasibility studies, and implement complex, innovative strategies. Your extensive knowledge of SEO and digital marketing will be critical in planning and executing high-impact projects. Collaboration is key, as you will frequently engage with stakeholders across various departments. Strong interpersonal skills are essential. As a specialist advisor and subject matter expert, you will be the go-to resource for all SEO-related topics.
You'll be joining a dynamic growth marketing team, working alongside growth strategists, paid media experts, CRO specialists, and SEO content strategists, all driven by a high pace, innovation, and a commitment to outperformance for all our IFC brands.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings, website traffic, and conversion rates on our key websites: belairdirect.com and intact.ca.

Analyze and address drops in organic performance, providing practical solutions and data-driven recommendations.

Conduct regular SEO audits, monitor results, and present key findings to executives and partners.

Monitor website performance, keyword relevance, competitive landscape, and market trends.

Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush) to track and report on SEO performance.

Possess a strong technical understanding of web and SEO aspects (indexing, browser rendering, HTML servers, JavaScript, CMS operation, ranking factors).

Manage and enhance quality backlinks to strengthen site authority.

Optimize website structure, including information architecture, meta tags, XML sitemaps, redirects, page load speed, and mobile compatibility.

Improve content relevance and optimize targeted keywords and user intent.

Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to align organic and paid marketing efforts and develop SEO-SEM synergies for profitable results across all channels.

Promote SEO best practices among executives and other team members, such as paid marketers, CRO, developers, designers, content managers, and external partners.
Qualifications:

6 years of experience in SEO and performance marketing with proven success in optimization and business results.

In-depth knowledge of performance marketing, conversion, and acquisition techniques; experience in conversion rate optimization (CRO) is a plus.

Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Brightedge, Siteimprove, SEMrush) and analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).

Strong data analysis skills to guide strategic decisions.

Ability to explain technical concepts to non-experts and communicate effectively.

High interest in new generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Copilot, etc.).

Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Solution-oriented, innovative mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo.

No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
