About the Role:
We’re looking for a marketing mover and shaker to accelerate momentum in this fast-growing business. As a Marketing Manager on the Global Marketing team, you will be a key leader championing customer segmentation work, setting marketing strategies, and managing marketing campaigns to increase our customer penetration globally and deliver sales performance. You will be responsible for leading marketing planning, and developing insights-based campaign strategies to maximize the impact of our marketing activities. You will take the lead on creative briefs for your portfolio and ensure smooth execution of your campaigns working with creative and media teams. What You'll be Doing:
Brand and Campaign Strategy

Identify business growth opportunities, and translate these into impactful, omnichannel marketing strategies across the marketing funnel.

Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and communications campaigns that are aligned to commercial objectives and designed to deliver maximum impact results.

Manage a marketing calendar to guide campaign planning across regional and global teams. Set the product & brand campaign priorities for the global marketing team, in collaboration with Marketing leadership around the globe.

Develop creative briefs grounded in consumer and business insights, turning high-level strategies into effective marketing plans that resonate with our target audiences.

Ensure briefs, strategies and decisions are rooted in data utilizing a test & learn approach.

Operate with a performance-mindset, assessing campaign and media channel performance to drive continual optimization of marketing campaign design.

Develop post-mortems for campaigns and share key learnings with cross functional teams.

Conduct strategic business reviews and set annual marketing plans, in collaboration with Marketing Director and broader marketing teams.

Proactively analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for brand differentiation and marketing innovation.
Brand Management and Product Marketing
-
Act as a champion of of G Adventures’ portfolio of brands, quarterbacking the work to refresh brand positioning, and craft compelling product narratives in collaboration with Marketing leadership and G’s creative services team.

Lead the implementation of brand guidelines and manage adherence across campaigns and team activities. Train and socialize brand guidelines and narratives, as required.

Lead product marketing efforts for your portfolio and own the go-to-market communication launch plans for product innovation, working closely with Product teams. Develop the customer positioning, content strategy and creative assets to maximize impact from launch.

Lead consumer and competitive research initiatives to establish product value propositions, customer segmentation, and brand differentiation.

Set consumer segmentation and persona development, leveraging insights & data for our suite of travel styles and brands.

Assist in the development of key presentations, decks and information tools used to support the business.

Champion a culture of collaboration and innovation, working closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Creative & Content, Digital Marketing, Communications, Revenue Management, Product, and Talent.

Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure intelligent campaign design and seamless execution of campaigns.
Campaign Go-To-Market and Execution Leadership

Develop workbacks , identify and schedule all deadlines & deliverables required for execution.

Collaborate with cross-functional channel and regional leads to ensure our campaigns come to life consistently in market across all customer touchpoints.

Review campaign assets for consistency & brand alignment.

Take ownership of project management and creative resourcing, and other tools to effectively coordinate team members, deliverables, and timelines for the marketing campaigns you’re leading.

Own execution discussions with strategic brand partners, vendors and agencies.

Optimize campaign development methodology, improving timelines & streamlining execution processes.

Foster a positive team culture of collaboration, ownership & achievement, across peers, cross functional leads.

Demonstrate strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills,balancing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Desired Skills & Experience:

Bachelor or Masters of Business in Marketing, Communications, Marketing Science or related field required.

4-7 years of demonstrated experience in brand management, consumer marketing, and/or product marketing, working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment. Marketing experience in the travel industry would be an asset.

Strategic marketer with experience setting brand strategies, designing marketing campaigns, and executing media planning across omnichannel marketing campaigns.

A strong critical thinker who has the ability to turn high level business growth strategies into effective marketing plans and clear marketing briefs, grounded in data insights.

Strong capabilities in marketing research and consumer insights-mining - a passion for translating data insights into creative and actionable marketing plans.

A creative marketer – someone who can act as successful partner with the creative services team to transform a brief into industry-leading content and advertisements.

Exceptional organization skills and an expert planner who can act as a central leader organizing cross-functional team workstreams to deliver campaigns efficiently.

Strong communication skills and ability to present confidently to various audiences.

Effective at building strong working relationships and team camaraderie.

Able to work strategically and independently within a fast paced and ever-changing environment, while juggling multiple projects and tasks at the same time.

Possesses strong computer/technology skills and is highly proficient in Google Suite.

Knowledge of PM software tools such as ClickUp is an asset.
