Overview
As the European Marketing Manager for ESAB, a global leader in fabrication and welding technology, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of regional marketing activities. Collaborating closely with the Director of EMEA Marketing, you’ll be pivotal in developing and implementing tailored marketing strategies to drive brand growth and demand across the European market. This role is essential to ensuring ESAB’s brand remains the preferred choice within the industry, optimizing campaigns to enhance product awareness, customer engagement, and ultimately drive sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own European Marketing Operations: Lead European marketing operations, executing strategies that align with both regional and global objectives, with a focus on what resonates in European markets.

  • Coordinate Regional Requests: Manage and prioritize regional marketing requests, allocate resources, and ensure timely completion.

  • Lead Campaign Development: Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to lead the development, launch, and optimization of marketing campaigns focused on brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.

  • Produce Compelling Content: Partner with both in-house and external resources to plan and produce engaging marketing materials, including videos, collateral materials, and written content.

  • Event and Trade Show Management: Organize and manage regional events and trade shows, overseeing logistics, promotion, and post-event analysis to maximize brand visibility and ROI.

  • Agency and Third-Party Relations: Act as the primary point of contact with advertising agencies and other third-party vendors on behalf of ESAB Europe.

  • Support Sales Communication: Ensure the availability of all required marketing materials to support the sales team and customer communication.

  • Manage Translations: Oversee translation processes and work to streamline and improve them.

  • Distributor Merchandising Support: Collaborate with sub-regional ESAB distributor managers to develop and maintain an effective in-store merchandising program.

  • Budget Management: Assist in managing and tracking the Europe MarCom budgets to maximize resource efficiency and impact.

Qualifications
Technical Requirements

  • Familiarity with B2B and B2C advertising campaigns.

  • Proficiency with MS Office and specific applications.

  • Experience with social media marketing campaigns.

  • Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.

  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus) with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Public Relations and Marketing Communications with an international company or brand.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing impactful marketing campaigns at both local and international levels.

  • Proven experience in brand support and marketing, with a portfolio showcasing successful PR, marketing, or communications projects.

  • Solid experience managing social media channels, including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and other platforms.

  • Experience working effectively with Advertising and Marketing agencies.

  • Proven ability to navigate and contribute within a multi-stakeholder environment.

  • Experience managing a team, with a track record of achieving significant results with small, agile teams.

  • Hands-on experience in planning and managing events.

  • Experience in the welding industry is a plus, but not required.
