About the Role & Team 

The Partnerships Manager is a key role within the Performance Marketing team and will be responsible for defining and executing the affiliate and programmatic partnership strategy across all product verticals. This role will own partner performance, innovation, and growth, ensuring partnerships remain a scalable, efficient, and brand-aligned acquisition channel. 

You will act as the primary point of ownership for partner relationships, performance optimization, and strategic expansion, while also ensuring strong alignment between partnerships, internal campaigns, and creative execution. 

This role will initially operate as a highly autonomous individual contributor and will evolve into a people management role as the in-house team scales. 

About the Work 

  • Lead the development and execution of the affiliate and programmatic partnership strategy.
  • Own partner acquisition, onboarding, optimization, and retention.
  • Identify, evaluate, and scale new partnership opportunities.
  • Ensure alignment between performance marketing initiatives and internal campaigns.
  • Act as the primary bridge between partnerships and creative teams, leading creative integration and alignment.
  • Develop creative briefs, content strategies, and testing frameworks for partners.
  • Monitor partner performance, identifying optimization opportunities and growth levers.
  • Own forecasting, pacing, and performance reporting for the channel.
  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks in collaboration with analytics.
  • Monitor competitive activity and partnership trends, translating insights into innovation.
  • Build scalable processes, documentation, and playbooks.
  • Prepare the channel for future scale, including eventual team leadership. 

About You 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, partnerships, or performance marketing.
  • Strong understanding of CPA, rev-share, hybrid models, and performance-based partnerships.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow external relationships.
  • Highly analytical, with a strong performance and optimization mindset.
  • Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator, especially with creative and campaign teams.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
  • Innovative thinker who looks beyond the immediate competitive set.
  • Experience in regulated industries, gaming, or high-growth environments is a plus.
  • Prior people management experience not required but highly valued.
  • Must be Canada-based; fully remote eligible.

Salary Range
$90,000$130,000 CAD
