Marketing Manager, Own Brand

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead strategy and execution for a portfolio of 2,000+ proprietary products. With a clear mandate to accelerate Own Brand penetration and strengthen revenue and margin performance, this role translates brand strategy and market insights into integrated, high-impact marketing programs.Reporting to the Director, Marketing, this position combines portfolio strategy, omnichannel execution, and performance-driven optimization. Success will be measured by increased product adoption, improved commercial results, and disciplined delivery against defined growth targets.

What you will do:

Own Brand Growth & Portfolio Strategy

  • Develop and execute omnichannel marketing strategies that increase Own Brand penetration and competitive positioning.

  • Translate sales, margin, customer, and competitive data into clear marketing priorities.

  • Align brand positioning and messaging with pricing strategy and category objectives.

  • Plan and execute launch activities for new products, including messaging, channel activation, and sales enablement support.

  • Partner with Category Management and Sales to ensure marketing investments align with business targets.

  • Establish and maintain clear brand positioning and messaging frameworks to ensure consistency across all channels.

​Go-to-Market Leadership & Execution

  • Lead integrated marketing plans across digital and offline channels for launches, promotions, and seasonal initiatives.

  • Own end-to-end project management, including scope definition, timelines, budgets, and cross-functional coordination.

  • Manage third-party agencies and external partners, ensuring clarity of brief, quality output, budget control, and performance accountability.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Digital, Category Management, Sales, and Operations to ensure aligned and timely execution.

  • Manage marketing budgets, forecast spend, and ensure disciplined allocation aligned to growth priorities.
     

Analytics, Performance & Optimization

  • Establish KPIs aligned to penetration, revenue contribution, margin performance, engagement, and adoption.

  • Use CRM, web analytics, campaign data, and sales reporting to evaluate effectiveness and inform decisions.

  • Deliver structured performance reporting and actionable insights to leadership.

  • Continuously refine programs to improve ROI and overall marketing effectiveness.

  • Strengthen reporting and planning processes to improve visibility and execution discipline.
     

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in brand, product, or private label marketing.

  • Experience leading omnichannel initiatives across web, email, content, in-branch collateral, merchandising, and sales enablement.

  • Demonstrated success improving category performance, product adoption, and revenue growth.

  • Strong analytical capability with experience using sales, margin, and marketing data to guide strategy and optimize performance.

  • Experience managing complex marketing initiatives from planning through execution.

  • Proven experience managing third-party agencies and external partners.

  • Experience in B2B or distribution environments preferred.

  • Strong project management and stakeholder leadership skills, with the ability to balance strategy and execution.

Vacancy Status: Existing position

Base salary range: $80,000- $90,000
Total posting range is $80,000- 103,000 (inclusive of salary + Bonus)
 

Please note: The total compensation range posted for this role represents the total compensation opportunity, which may include base wage, bonuses, commissions, and/or other monetary components, if applicable.  Placement in the range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, candidate experience, skills and qualifications relevant to the role.
