    Job Description

    Further your marketing experience with a leading QSR brand.

    This internship provides hands‑on learning across several areas of marketing within the DQ® Canada team. The successful candidate will support the execution of national cause marketing campaigns, contribute to marketing calendar development, and gain exposure to campaign planning, competitive analysis, and cross‑functional coordination.

    We’re looking for a highly organized, analytical, and detail‑oriented individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys managing multiple projects simultaneously.

    Principal Accountabilities:

    Cause Marketing – Children’s Miracle Network

    • Support the Marketing Communications Manager with Miracle Treat Day and Round Up campaign execution.
    • Assist with public relations initiatives, including coordination with media outlets.
    • Support execution of gift card Blizzard pre‑orders.
    • Attend cause marketing meetings and document meeting highlights and action items.
    • Assist with the execution of Funding Innovation initiatives.
    • Support merchandising plans for fundraising programs.
    • Help with reporting and analytics, including post‑event evaluation for Miracle Treat Day.

    Calendar Planning

    • Research the competitive landscape within the foodservice and Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
    • Conduct competitive product visits to other QSRs during in‑office days and report insights.
    • Support marketing calendar planning by compiling research and recommendations.

    The Canadian national hourly range for this position is CAD $24.00.  The range displayed reflects the targeted hiring range for the same positions across all Canadian locations. Individual pay is determined by job-related skills, work location, and education or experience.

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience:

    • Completed or currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.
    • Work experience (paid, volunteer, co‑op, etc.) is an asset.
    • Good working knowledge of social media platforms is preferred.

    Skills:

    • Strong written communication abilities.
    • Self‑motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
    • Strong time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
    • Accountable, responsive, and detail‑oriented.

    Duration:  May through August 2026

    Additional Information

    Work Environment:

    Most positions located out of our corporate office in Burlington, Ontario will work a hybrid work schedule where you will work 3 collaboration days a week.  Additional in office time may be required to support team/project needs.
