Position Summary

The Marketing & Trade Planner supports the Business Unit Head, Dermatological Skincare, in delivering financial and strategic objectives. This role executes sales and marketing programs, coordinates cross-functional activities, and ensures accurate tracking and reporting of business performance. The position reports to the Business Unit Head with a dotted line to Brand and Sales teams.

This position is based at Galderma Downtown Toronto office (161 Bay St.) with a base salary range of 80,000 - 100,000 CAD plus bonus.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Act as the primary liaison between Sales, Retail Sales Representatives, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, Demand Planning, and Finance.

• Coordinate information flow throughout the Business Planning Process.

Sales & Performance Reporting

• Communicate weekly Sales Huddle documents to the Leadership Team.

• Support Finance with trade spend management and maintain the trade spend tracker with weekly sales updates.

• Track and report performance of promotional activities and display programs.

Demand Planning & Inventory Management

• Provide Sales & Marketing input into the Demand Planning process.

• Manage exit/run-down strategies, customer allocations, and slow-moving/obsolete inventory.

Marketing & Product Launch Support

• Support Brand Leads in developing trade decks, sales tools, and launch materials.

• Coordinate artwork creation for displays, coupons, ad mats, and marketing assets.

• Communicate product launch details, specifications, display programs, samples, and must-stock lists.

Display Program Management

• Oversee display menu development, forecasting, sell-through tracking, and inventory management.

• Lead weekly display status meetings and manage slow-moving display inventory.

Category & Business Insights

• Collaborate with the Category Development Advisor on plan-o-grams, category reviews, scorecards, and reporting.

Budget & Compliance

• Assist Brand Leads in tracking A&P budgets.

• Partner with the Promotional Review Committee (PRC) to review materials and ensure compliant, brand-aligned claims.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum 1 year of CPG Marketing experience.

• Experience in product positioning, consumer promotions, and marketing execution.

• Strong project management skills.

• Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.

• Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and problem-solving ability.

• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong sense of urgency.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
