About Tecksoft: Tecksoft saw the light of day in summer 2004 when Mathieu Néron and Jean-François "JF" Durocher decided they wanted to make more than just small pieces of software here and there. They started their journey connecting medical devices and creating what would become the de-facto ophthalmology EMR in the province of Quebec and used all over Canada.

Based on their past experiences they went on to acquire the acclaimed and loved optometry EMR software called OptoClick and modernized it to make it the most powerful Optometry software available on the market and then disrupted the market with competitive pricing giving the opportunity for all for a true paperless office.

We’re looking for an energetic, tech-savvy and motivated individual to help build our national lead generation engine. This is an entry-level role that bridges marketing and business development — perfect for someone who loves connecting with people, running campaigns and working with modern CRM tools.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and execute targeted lead-generation campaigns to support growth across Canada.
  • Manage and optimize CRM activities in HubSpot (lead tracking, pipeline updates, and campaign performance metrics).
  • Research and build lists of potential customers using tools like DealFront, ZoomInfo or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Support content and digital marketing efforts by creating email templates, short videos, and campaign materials.
  • Coordinate outreach efforts — including occasional cold calls and follow-ups with clinics across Canada.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to design campaigns for new product features and upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and campaign outcomes in HubSpot and other systems.
  • Represent TeckSoft professionally as the first point of contact for new prospects and partners.

What You Bring

  • College diploma or undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Strong interest in marketing, lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Hands-on experience (or familiarity) with CRM and marketing tools such as HubSpot, DealFront or ZoomInfo.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — English is mandatory; French is an asset.
  • Enthusiasm to learn, self-motivation and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while staying aligned with a remote team.

Compensation & Details

  • Salary: CAD $50,000 – $60,000 per year (base salary, no commission) 

    Salary is based on a number of factors including market conditions, location and may vary depending on job-related skills and experience.
