About the Role

The Market Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research and providing actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across all functions of Probe Group. This role will focus on analysing market trends, customer behaviour, competitive intelligence, and forecasting to support product development, business strategy, and operational adjustments. The Market Research Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between research findings and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

● Market Research: Conduct thorough research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, risks, and potential market disruptions. Analyse customer behaviour, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to support strategic decisions. Offer insights to guide business strategy, product development, marketing, and partnerships.

● Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor strategies to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning. Provide ongoing insights into the competitive landscape to support product differentiation, strategic positioning, and market expansion. Analyse market gaps and opportunities to inform Probe Group's competitive strategy.

● Forecasting & Predictive Analysis: Develop predictive models using historical and current market data, customer trends, and economic indicators to guide Probe Group's decision-making. Support scenario planning by evaluating future market conditions and their effects on business continuity, growth, and expansion. Forecast demand for services and products based on market intelligence and competitive trends.

● Insights & Recommendations: Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to leadership for guiding growth, operational efficiency, and competitive positioning. Work with cross-functional teams to enhance product differentiation and positioning based on market intelligence

● Reporting & Performance Tracking: Prepare and present regular reports on market conditions, competitor activities, and key performance metrics to leadership and relevant teams. Keep teams updated on market shifts, competitive developments, and customer preferences, ensuring insights are used in operational and strategic decisions.

About You

You have proven experience in market research, adept at identifying trends and insights that drive product development and strategy. Your expertise in competitive intelligence allows you to analyze competitor actions and market positioning to guide strategic decisions. You excel in forecasting and predictive analysis, using data to predict future trends and market demands. With strong data-driven decision-making skills, you leverage analytics tools to provide actionable recommendations. Your communication skills enable you to create and deliver clear, impactful reports and presentations to senior stakeholders, including the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), on market insights. Additionally, you have a strong track record in managing multiple research projects from start to finish.

Skills and Experience Required:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

● 2-4 years of experience in market research, data analysis, or a similar analytical role.

● Demonstrated experience in conducting research and providing actionable insights across various business functions.

● Strong understanding of competitive intelligence, market dynamics, and customer behaviour analysis.

● Exceptional communication skills are essential for researching, synthesising findings, and aligning them with our business objectives and vision. The ability to effectively convey these insights through written reports and verbal presentations is crucial for informing strategic decision-making and choices.

● Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and present findings to senior leadership
