We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer with deep Oracle database experience to support a fast-paced database marketing environment. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams from multiple geographies while contributing to mission-critical marketing data solutions.  This role is responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex data solutions that power marketing analytics, customer segmentation, and campaign execution.
 

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with an understanding of marketing data, large-scale datasets, and data-driven decision-making.
 

Responsibilities

-Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and packages in Oracle
-Support database-driven marketing campaigns, including audience selection, segmentation, suppression logic, and tracking
-Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and data science teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
-Provide production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for data issues
-Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across large, high-volume datasets

Qualifications

Technical Skills & Experience
-5+ years of experience as a SQL Developer, with significant hands-on Oracle experience
-Advanced proficiency in Oracle SQL
-Experience working with large-scale relational databases and complex data models
-Solid understanding of database marketing concepts, such as customer data, segmentation, campaign targeting, and response tracking
-Strong performance tuning and query optimization skills
-Experience with data quality validation and reconciliation
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
