Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology-related consulting engagements across a variety of industries.
• Direct cross-functional teams in delivering solutions within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
• Provide day-to-day direction, coaching and mentoring project teams. You will also be responsible for career management, professional development, and supporting employees through Optimus SBR’s Career Development Program (CDP).
• Identify project risks and develop and implement mitigation plans.
• Participate in proposal development and sales support efforts, including identifying opportunities for client growth and managing change requests.
• Support internal practice development initiatives and contribute to Optimus SBR’s knowledge base.
• Contribute to the life and culture of Optimus SBR.
Qualifications:
• 7–10 years of relevant work experience, including previous technology delivery experience (e.g., software development, systems integration, infrastructure).
• Experience in a management consulting capacity is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading technology project teams, with a solid understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with key technology trends, such as digital transformation, DevOps, cloud adoption, or data modernization.
• Strong people skills with a proven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and mentor teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated success managing client expectations and achieving high satisfaction levels.
• Highly organized, with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Self-directed and adaptable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Brings an innovative and dynamic approach and strong work ethic.
• Required Education: Related University Degree (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent).
• Preferred Education: Post-Graduate degree, MBA, CPA, CFA or other relevant designations strongly preferred.
Compensation:
$110,000-135,000 annually (subject to negotiation and subject to the candidate meeting the specific skills, experience, education, and qualification requirements)
