Role Overview
The Manager, Sales Enablement – Canada is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for driving the effectiveness, scalability, and modernization of Metergy’s sales enablement function in the Canadian market.
This role manages three direct reports and is responsible for enhancing operational efficiency across key areas: streamlining agreements and renewals for accuracy and compliance, delivering data analytics to inform strategic decisions and board reporting, and driving technology and process improvements to modernize systems and workflows.
The successful candidate will balance strategic foresight with operational agility, able to execute quick wins while shaping long-term transformation. This role is integral to how we evolve our sales approach, evaluate product profitability, and position Metergy for accelerated growth across Canada.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the Canadian Sales Enablement team, ensuring alignment across Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, Onboarding and Client Success.
- Develop strategies to strengthen how we sell, price, and evaluate profitability across all product lines.
- Deliver timely analytics and reporting to support business reviews, forecasts, and executive presentations.
- Drive process and system enhancements that improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
- Partner with leadership to assess market trends and inform commercial strategy.
- Champion change management to ensure new tools and workflows are successfully adopted.
- Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Sales Operations, or related strategic roles.
- Demonstrated success leading teams and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities; proficiency in tools such as Salesforce, Power BI, and Microsoft Suite.
- Proven experience implementing technology or process improvements in complex organizations.
- Agile mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and tactical execution.
- Knowledge of the utility, energy, or technology sectors is an asset.
