What you'll do
Provide end to end leadership of Product Quality Assurance for assigned business categories, ensuring customer safety, trust, and experience are embedded throughout acceptance criteria development, test evaluation, issue disposition, complaint investigations, returns analysis, and vendor performance improvement.
Develop and execute multi year category quality strategies that anticipate customer needs and support growth, aligned with assortment evolution, new product and category launches, and brand extensions.
Translate product quality data into actionable customer insights, analyzing and reporting on quality metrics to guide cross functional teams and vendors toward corrective actions, risk reduction, and continuous improvement.
Assess product testing results through a customer first lens, determining appropriate actions such as corrective measures, shipment rejection, stop sale decisions, or recalls protecting customer trust and brand integrity.
Serve as a trusted technical and functional subject matter expert for assigned categories, partnering with Merchandising and Branding to influence product decisions that balance quality, speed to market, and customer value.
Lead day to day quality initiatives with a growth mindset, fostering learning, collaboration, and agility while managing relationships with Asia based quality teams and third-party providers across Asia and North America.
Partner with key vendors to drive continuous improvement, co-developing corrective action plans, evaluating emerging technologies, strengthening product design, and enhancing the end-to-end customer experience.
Enable strong cross functional alignment and execution of the Product Quality Assurance strategy, ensuring shared accountability and consistent focus on customer outcomes across internal stakeholders.
What you bring
8–10 years of experience in merchandising, product development, engineering, or quality assurance, with demonstrated impact in customer facing or consumer products environments.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
Strong product knowledge within assigned categories, with the ability to connect technical quality decisions to customer experience and business growth.
Demonstrated technical expertise in manufacturing, quality, or consumer products, paired with a mindset of continuous learning and improvement.
Background in product design engineering or development preferred, with experience influencing design decisions to proactively improve quality and customer outcomes.
Our typical hiring range is between $81,000.00 and $131,000.00. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
