Supporting BMO new broker channel related policy initiatives, including but not limited to:

1. Policy clarification: Day to day vendor management to clarify policy discrepancies, investigate transactions and ensure vendor is following BMO Policy.

2. Policy strategic initiatives: support strategic initiatives via competitive analysis and research, policy and risk proposal to ensure broker channel policy continue to stay competitive in the market.

2. Process and change management: work with internal and external stakeholders to complete policy changes, communications, updates for both lender policy and handbook. Ensure policy at broker channel is always updated timely with accuracy.

3. Reporting: Support senior manager on weekly and monthly basis for policy related item reporting. Data -driven mind set is highly appreciated.

Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong policy, consumer lending, credit risk knowledge of Home Financing product.
  • Strong knowledge of banking product management and associated industry and regulatory requirements.
  • Relationship management – In-depth
  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.
  • Collaboration & team skills - In-depth.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth. Proficient in excel and SQL and other office software.
  • Influence skills - In-depth.

Salary:

$69,000.00 - $129,000.00

Salaried

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
