Manager, Marketing Operations

Role Summary

The Manager, Marketing Operations will serve as the backbone of the Marketing Operations function, ensuring seamless execution of marketing programs and optimal utilization of marketing technology. This role owns Marketo administration, drives marketing analytics and insights, and supports end-to-end program execution - from building emails and landing pages to creating, managing, and optimizing Marketo programs.

Key Responsibilities

Marketo Administration

  • Own and administer the Marketo instance end-to-end, including governance, architecture, configuration, integrations, and troubleshooting.
  • Design, build, and manage all core Marketo processes such as lead lifecycle, scoring, routing, nurtures, segmentation, and program templates.
  • Ensure data hygiene, system integrity, compliance, and reliable data flow across Marketo, Salesforce, and integrated marketing technologies.
  • Serve as the Marketo subject-matter expert, driving best practices, system optimization, and stakeholder enablement.

Marketing Analytics

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver dashboards and reports that support monthly marketing reporting, including ABX program performance, pipeline contribution, and ROI measurement.
  • Support ad-hoc marketing analytics needs by creating on-demand dashboards, reports, and insights for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Actively enable marketing, sales, and leadership stakeholders by sharing, explaining, and operationalizing dashboards and reports to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations and IT teams on attribution modeling, data integrity, and performance analysis.

Program Execution

  • Build, execute, and optimize end-to-end Marketo programs supporting ABX, demand generation, lifecycle, and other marketing initiatives, including emails, landing pages, forms, smart campaigns, and nurture workflows.
  • Operationalize marketing programs within Marketo by managing program setup, channels, tagging, tokens, and campaign flows to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure rigorous QA and flawless execution across all Marketo programs, including testing data flow, scoring, routing, and Salesforce sync behavior.
  • Support ongoing marketing operations needs such as list uploads, segmentation, data updates, and campaign execution support as required.

Operational Excellence

  • Act as the go-to expert for marketing technology, processes, and best practices
  • Train and support marketing stakeholders to improve adoption, efficiency, and consistency

Required Skills & Experience

  • Advanced proficiency in Marketo (Marketo Certified Expert preferred)
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics, KPIs, and attribution models
  • Hands-on experience building assets and programs in Marketo
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and marketing automation integrations
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with additional marketing technologies (e.g., Salesforce, Knak, Sitecore etc.)
  • Knowledge of lead lifecycle management, scoring models, and funnel optimization
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, and Digital teams

Pay Range $127,100 - $190,650 CAD

The salary range shown reflects the company's good faith full target range for this position at the time of posting.   • Développer, maintenir et produire des tableaux de bord et des rapports pour le reporting marketing mensuel, incluant la performance des programmes ABX, la contribution au pipeline et la mesure du ROI.

  • Répondre aux besoins analytiques ponctuels en créant des tableaux de bord, rapports et analyses à la demande pour les parties prenantes transverses.

  • Accompagner activement les équipes marketing, commerciales et la direction en partageant, expliquant et opérationnalisant les tableaux de bord et rapports afin de favoriser une prise de décision fondée sur les données.

  • Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes Sales Operations et IT sur les modèles d’attribution, l’intégrité des données et l’analyse de la performance.

Exécution des programmes

  • Concevoir, exécuter et optimiser des programmes Marketo de bout en bout soutenant les initiatives ABX, de génération de la demande, de cycle de vie et autres, incluant e-mails, pages d’atterrissage, formulaires, campagnes intelligentes et workflows de nurturing.

  • Opérationnaliser les programmes marketing dans Marketo en gérant la configuration des programmes, les canaux, le balisage, les tokens et les flux de campagnes afin d’assurer un suivi et un reporting précis.

  • Assurer un contrôle qualité rigoureux et une exécution sans faille de tous les programmes Marketo, incluant les tests des flux de données, du scoring, du routage et du comportement de synchronisation avec Salesforce.

  • Soutenir les besoins opérationnels continus (importations de listes, segmentation, mises à jour de données, support à l’exécution des campagnes, etc.).

Excellence opérationnelle

  • Agir comme référent·e principal·e en matière de technologies marketing, de processus et de meilleures pratiques.

  • Former et accompagner les parties prenantes marketing afin d’améliorer l’adoption, l’efficacité et la cohérence.

Compétences et expérience requises

  • Maîtrise avancée de Marketo (certification Marketo Certified Expert fortement souhaitée).

  • Solide compréhension de l’analytique marketing, des KPI et des modèles d’attribution.

  • Expérience pratique dans la création d’actifs et de programmes dans Marketo.

  • Connaissance opérationnelle de Salesforce CRM et des intégrations d’automatisation marketing.

  • Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités.

  • Solides compétences en communication, collaboration et gestion des parties prenantes.

Qualifications souhaitées

  • Expérience avec des technologies marketing complémentaires (par ex. Salesforce, Knak, Sitecore, etc.).
