Legal Operations group is responsible for delivering the Legal department’s strategic vision and operating plan. A key focus is managing initiatives that demonstrate value, improve efficiency, and enable continuous improvement. A core pillar of the Legal Operations mandate is driving effective vendor management by reducing legal spend with law firms, legal vendors, and technology partners while improving the quality, consistency, and value of services delivered to the business.
As Manager, Legal Operations, you will drive strategic change through process re-engineering, KPI development, and project delivery. Using a standardized framework, combination of project management, business analysis, and change management, you will help ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget while fostering education and growth across the Legal team.
This generalist role spans project management, process optimization, technology implementation, and data-driven insights—working closely with Legal leadership and partners in IT and Finance

Responsibilities
Project Management
Develop and manage project plans; oversee delivery of multiple initiatives.
Monitor scope, timelines, and deliverables; resolve risks and issues proactively.
Share best practices to improve operational effectiveness.
Prepare high-level and detailed project status reports.
Business Analysis
Identify and implement processes and tools to streamline workflows.
Lead design, rollout, and training for new systems.
Analyze KPIs to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
Change Management
Prepare and support the Legal team through transitions.
Communicate impacts clearly to stakeholders.
Collaboration
Build strong relationships within Legal and across IT, Finance, and other business units across organization.
Capabilities
2-4 years of relevant experience in legal operations, project management, or related field.
Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.
Experience in process design and facilitation.
Change management experience or designation (asset).
Lean or Six Sigma experience (asset).
Familiarity with SharePoint, iManage, or Legal Tracker (asset).
